I can say this from a family of veterans, all 3 of the guys in my immediate family. The new telehealth laws under Trump for the VA and the ability to visit yo own doctor instead of waiting at the VA. Especially in emergency situations and situations where you live in rural area's and have to travel 5 hours to a VA hospital like in North Dakota where I am, really made a difference.

Many of the VA's changes were enshrined in law and the option to seek outside doctors is still there. My husband is very good at keeping up with his checkups, but something wasn't right. He kept going back, getting some tests, and getting a clean bill of health. We had enough and found him a civilian doctor. The insurance was changed to pay for it. After the first appointment, the doc ordered some tests. One of those tests found a single clogged heart artery. It's the "Widowmaker" artery. But we found it in time. President Trump saved my husband's life and I will always be grateful for that. Just giving us the option to LEAVE the VA system was enough to catch him.

As a former US Army Drill Sergeant, those were “stress cards”. Initial BCT is 9 weeks, 3 phases. The Privates would get 3 cards for each phase, if they pulled a card I had to stop on the spot. This brought about a mental weakness, and as I call it a lack of “intestinal fortitude”. Once I got off the “trail” and back to a regular unit I had to deal with some of these jokers, and actually deployed to the ‘Stan with them. Actually had one question my tactics in a firefight. If things don’t change, ladies and gentlemen, we are screwed. We will never win another ground war.

I joined the army in the late 80s and my son joined about 6 years ago and our Basic Trainings were completely different 😂 Drill Sergeants back in my day were all over ya 😂

The thing about Trump is that he already had relationships with foreign leaders so they knew what kind of businessman he was and they respected him for it. And if they didn’t respect him they feared him so when he had to deal with him as president they knew they wouldn’t be able to swindle him or get away with anything and N. Korea wasn’t any different! Shew my daughter is in the Navy and she said it was just like on TV and that she was finally grateful for how I raised her because she was more prepared than others where their parents were more friends than parents 🤣🤣🤣 only mentally weak people allow themselves to be offended over things that do not directly effect you, you rule your emotions they do not rule you, no one had the power to make you feel any certain way unless you give it to them, facts don't care about feelings, truth is not individual it just is, and show respect to everyone whether they deserve it or not because you are not held accountable for their actions but you will most definitely be held accountable for yours! If your buddy was in the Navy around 1997 they had experimented with "timeout cards" that they handed new recruits. You were supposed to keep them in your breast pocket and you could pull them out if you felt you were being pushed too hard. The experiment failed and they did away with them the last I knew of. I don't know if it failed because people refused to be "that guy" or if too many RDC's were making their recruits throw them away (mine did).

I don’t know if someone else addressed Pres Trump’s comment about Pres Obama and military equipment for police, but it is true. In May 2015, Pres Obama did issue an executive order banning the Pentagon from issuing military surplus to local police forces. His rationale was that it militarized the police. The counter was that current police respond to very different scenes in this era.

Do you know how to weed out the bad apples from the police department? Instead of allowing people to sue the city if a police officer is guilty of a crime, or injustice against a person, allow people to sue the pension fund of the police. Then watch how fast the police themselves weed out the bad apples.

start by removing the police union. That's the primary problem. That's the agency's agency that makes it impossible for bad cops to be let go and covers up what they shouldn't. Same is true for teacher's union. Remove that and see our schools improved dramatically, and we'll finally get teachers that want to educate - not indoctrinate.
