No she doesn't. No she absolutely has no point. It's a stupid point. It's wow. Don't you want equality? What does that have to do with that guy there at the end? Who had an empty chair next to him who thought his inanimate object bag needed its own seat. That's ignorant. I don't care if you live in a traditional society. If you live in a modern society, it's extremely ignorant to see people standing, have an empty seat next to you for your bag. And if it was a woman and she had her purse there, it would be equally as ignorant. This is such pandering nonsense and the fact that you're naive enough to fall for it is just kind of telling. And it doesn't tell a good story.

@Paul-sj5db8 күн бұрын
It always has been. The women who were most active and prominent in the feminist movement have always been among the most privileged of women and often among the most privileged of people in general. If you count suffragettes as feminists, I don't but feminists do, they were generally wealthy women who wanted the vote for women like themselves but weren't so keen on getting the vote for other women, whether they were black or poor. They really didn't like it that black men got the vote before they did. They wanted all the rights that men had but without the responsibilities, aka privileges.
@HassanAllaham4 күн бұрын
No, it is about equality but not the way it is defined in the dictionary. It is how to TRANSform a man (who WAS identified as a male) into a woman (who WAS identified as a female) and a woman into a man... so you can lose the meaning of human identification and have a zillion of identifications... till you are unable to use your language grammatically... and till you find some person who has organ between his legs using the bath of people who do not have that organ... The final result would be the destruction of the empire... bye bye Mr. Hell -_-

facts
@LLandS1825 күн бұрын
Chivalry never existed. Chivalry had to do with how nights behave on the battlefield. Never not ever had anything to do with how nights should treat women. In fact, if people treated women the way the knights used to treat women they would be in jail. And most people would be calling for their heads. Because not only did they treat women that way they treated young girls that way. And I mean young. Like elementary school young. Most people would be saying those nights deserve to be under the jail. Not in it myself included. The romantic concept of chivalry came about because of books like Ivanhoe. Which is a piece of historical fiction. Written about a night who never existed by a man who never existed or studied that time. It was a romantization of the past. It's a stupid concept. So it's never existed. It was never a thing to die cuz it never existed. In that sense. And if you think because you hold the door open for someone or give them your seat that you expect to be treated like the second coming of Jesus Christ, that's something you need to work on. The doing. The bare minimum to be a decent human being is not something you should be rewarded for. It's just something you should do. Also, it's super convenient that everybody leaves out the fact that the second guy had his bag on this empty seat. That is ignorant and rude. I don't care if it was a man wanting a seat and the woman had her purse on the bag and refused to move her bag off the empty seat. That's ignorant. You're a piece of human garbage if you don't remove that bag. Not because it's a woman, not because it's a man because it's common human decency. That humans get the seat before inanimate objects. Do. Try not to be so fake outraged and play victim all the time. It's exhausting.

@LLandS1825 күн бұрын
Nobody judges you honey. Nobody cares enough about you to judge you. And if your family and friends are judging you and finding you lacking, that might be something you want to work on. But people in the public that you run into they don't judge you. They don't care enough about you to judge you. Stop playing victim. That is what this entire comment section is. Is a bunch of grown ass men playing victim because some woman called out the fact that that second guy had a bag on on an empty seed. If that was a woman and she had her purse on an empty seat and a man was standing, it would be beyond ignorant not to remove the bag from the seat. It's not chivalry to make sure people sit before inanimate objects. It's common human decency. Cuz chivalry is stupid and it has absolutely nothing to do with how you treat a woman and everything to do with how you behave on the battlefield . The rest of the garbage was added by romance novelist. Like the guy who wrote Ivanhoe. Just because you're naive enough to think a piece of literal fiction that was written about a time that guy never studied was never part of is historically accurate. This is really going to blow your mind. 300 isn't an actual historical retelling of a historical event. It's Greek and Sparta propaganda. Shorts. A cool movie but it's just a movie.

I teach my boys to open doors & give women & elderly their seat - but I think the only time I've ever been offended that no one offered me a seat is when I was 9 months pregnant with a 15 month old toddler on my arm. Lol I usually refuse the seat otherwise, it's polite to offer but I don't know what he had to deal with that day, I don't want to take his seat if he needs it. Men deserve rest & relaxation too, those few minutes on the subway could be the only break he's had that day.

Teach your boys all you want in the long run they're going to learn a lesson and once Their Eyes Are Open they're going to look at their mother and tell her mom you lied to me I'm facing 30 years in prison just because I was trying to save a woman's life gave her CPR and now I'm in handcuffs trying to save someone's life and you told me to do the right thing you lied to me now this woman is saying that I did something to her knowing that I'm trying to save her mom I hate you

😊@Za-kid: Thx for being such stand up guy. Unlike what you hear & read online, most women are greatly appreciative of such heroic measures. 🤔I'm convinced in life that we largely get what we expect. Being optimistic & hopeful about people has rarely left me disappointed. Manners, respect, & gratitude was very important in my family. I'm thankful when anyone holds a door for me or offers a seat. I do the same for others〰️particularly if they're parents w/children, the elderly, or disabled. 🚙Before the pandemic, I used to regularly drive my bestie to ✈️LAX in his car for his annual family holiday. One year, we had to use my subcompact to jump his suv to get it started. Figured it would be fully charged by the time I dropped him off after our fighting the horrendous highway traffic across town. It was my tradition to stop at a nearby Ralphs to use the facilities & get refreshment while waiting for him to text his successful 🛄check-in & departure info. Only when that was accomplished, the car wouldn't start😖. 🙏🏾After a quick prayer, I saw a man approaching his parked truck in the next aisle. I sprinted over to explain my dilemma & without hesitation he came to my rescue. A spot opened up opposite in the packed parking lot, & he expertly pulled right in while I got the cables & such ready. 😃Thanked him profusely for his kindness. After he refused the gratuity I had prepared in advance, I surprisingly found myself offering this total stranger a hug to which he happily accepted. It was actually quite wholesome, & he jokingly said it was his best reward ever🤭. We laughingly parted company, wishing each good tidings & a 🎄Merry Christmas. 😉Will never forget that gallant gentleman.🕊God bless you! 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

A great uncle told me a tale…he opened the door for a woman and she said “you don’t have to open the door because I’m a woman” he replied “I’m not, I’ve opened the door because I’m a gentleman”. We need to stop using other people’s behaviour as an excuse for our own. Know yourself! If you are a man who wishes to give up his seat because it is who he is then do it. If it is not who YOU are then don’t. I am a woman who gives up her seat for the elderly or for a person with a child. And I truly appreciate a man who open a door.

And if someone opens a door for me, I thank them. I'm not a woman or girl, but I damn sure know how to thank someone for being polite and opening a damn door. When did it become some stupid gender issue to just be polite and open a damn door for someone...or hold it open for someone? Man, woman, or child if I happen to be standing in an open door and someone is approaching, I HOLD THE FUCKING DOOR OPEN for them.
@archerandthemouse21 күн бұрын
How about taking gender out of the story, out of the conversation. We can all open doors for each other. I taught my sons and daughters as kind humans to hold the door for the person in back of you, to offer help to anyone who has a heavy load, someone carrying a child, someone who is physically struggling. If they say no thank you, honor that. It isn't about you, it is about being respectful and kind if someone needs help and the same if they would like space to manage it on their own. That is feminism.

I’ve never loved being a woman in a small Texas town more than I do right now and today’s society. I love having my door open for me. I love having my husband pump my gas. I love having the bill paid for me even though I could pay for it. I love giving my husband anything and everything he needs so I get to be treated like a lady☺️
@protoborg24 күн бұрын
Nice story bro. Now tell us the truth. You could not be more entitled if you tried. You do NOT accept those things if you are not going to return the favor. That is not how this works. I hope your husband stops doing those things for as you clearly do not deserve them. If I ever happen to be in front of you entering a building, I will go out of my way to make sure the door is shut before you get there. You arrogant ass.

You should speak up now because all the SPECIAL TREATMENT is going away. Best to never help or approach now, and never never hyyyre. When you say NOTHING you are teaching us you are the same as them.

You may prefer those traditions and that easy politeness but it comes at a cost for most woman. When you tear down those traditional roles you see who people really are, and you also witness what people can truly become.

I have not liked feminism since 2 different women screamed at my brother for opening a door he was going to go through and indicating to them,' You wanna go in first?'. This was 17 years ago, and he was 16.
@mysty022 күн бұрын
Yea around that time the whole taking offense to holding the door open was trendy and edgy so all women were doing it. Now nobody holds the door and they cry. They literally just invent crap to be offended about
@archerandthemouse21 күн бұрын
I am a feminist and I have never been angry at anyone male or female opening a door or me, and I don't know any other feminist that would. The door analogy is we open them for each other (male or female) as a courtesy not as a signal that I am doing something traditional for you because I am the man and you are the woman. Feminists are trying to break traditions that no longer need to be gendered, that come with a lot of other baggage for women.
@mpoppins152821 күн бұрын
@@archerandthemouse I agree. I still feel guilty about the one time I let a door go in school and it hit a guy that apparently fancied me and thought I did that on purpose - I did apologise but he never asked me out and then I went out with an abusive guy so I always am careful to hold the door now lol
@jakal10421 күн бұрын
Like the brother, I had a similar event with a coworker... about 30 years ago. She was subsequently 'rewarded' with perfectly timed door closings on several occasions.
@Michelle-wz9pq21 күн бұрын
@archerandthemouse you have been blessed to have not encountered the crazy feminists. Or you are from a generation that taught both genders that it is good manners to hold the door for each other. If you are from an old enough generation, the men were taught to open and hold doors for women as a safety precaution. The man would open a door, check for people who shouldn't be there, step back, and aside to let the women through, which protected them from attacks from behind. All this is done without thinking about it. This is from an era where surveillance cameras did not exist or were not popular. Just checked Google, and surveillance cameras became popular in the 1970s. So, 50 years ago or so. 50 years is not a long time.
