I attended schools that had no computer . Each classroom had a dictionary that was 8 inches thick with small type (fonts) for those who never heard the word type . We lived 37 miles away from town with a mountain between us and the TV transmitter , so no TV . The cable was not available either. In 1970 8% of all American had cable. I graduated high school in 1969 . How many people remember dial 0 for the operator to make a call or check the time?

That's pretty much it. . .again. Not like this hasn't happened many times before in our North American culture. I am a 90's baby. I remember when you had to to go to computer shows in order to get parts to build a computer! You couldn't just order shit online. You had to drive, some times 4hrs away, to the massive weekend events, where hundreds of vendors all had parts and whole systems, and video games, all for sale all at different prices. And you had to haggle with them to get the best deals. And after, if you were good and didn't get kidnapped while you were off doing your own thing with hundreds of people around, while your dad was busy haggling prices, you got a brownie from the 7 11 gas station on your way home.
