ahhh yes, the gun that got me into being a dedicated machine gunner for my airsoft role. This RPK has been arguebly one of the best AK's in airsoft i ever used. Its very much the reason i got into the PKM and Support gunning as a whole. For someone who actually values realistic weight for both training and for the realism factor i enjoy every aspect of it. I ended up selling it due to moving but ive always regreted it and really want to pick up another one (and maybe daytona it)
@seanbutterworth65952 ай бұрын
I love my LCT, I got it way cheaper at my local field's store, but even at 400+ I'd say it was worth the money. The only gripe I ever had about it was that it was so unbelievably unbalanced. So much of the weight sat towards the front of the gun, and adding weights to the back would just make an already awkward to carry gun uncomfortable in a different way. But the weird weight wasn't why I stopped using it. It has a bipod for a reason, after all. It was because my field changed their full auto rules to only internationally recognized lmg's *with feed trays* because some players were unaware of some minutiae in what makes an lmg such. (Not their fault they didn't know, but it was easier to change the rules than to explain it all the time.) I wasn't gonna carry around all that weight just to fire semi auto. Thus, it became a gorgeous wall hanger

I lost both of my buttplate screws, replaced them then rewired mine to stick the battery under the dust cover. I guess you must have gotten an older generation one too, because mine came with a quick change spring... and I had to file the trigger contact carriage because it had a rough cast and would stick.

I like the club stock battery placement solely because my LCT RPK has a heavy mock bolt that wouldn't fit the battery. Gives it a bit more realism, it's a nice addition.

Bro! RPK have different sights then AK. RPK sight have horizontal elevetion and CYMA do right sights. Also real RPK have heavy barrel and more fat handguard. If you want more real RPK you need stuff from Vepr rifles (civil guns AK-type based on RPK)

ive got the rpk74mn(black polymer furniture). always turns heads in games and fields, but its a hassle to use if the field doesnt allow for full auto, cause then its just a big and clunky ak when i could just use a regular ak. my only gripe is the bipod. out the box it wobbled a lot, and swung around the barrel. i put some black electric tape over it so its fine now but i wish it was a little sturdier or to the barrel somehow. Besides that i really do like it. If you plan on buying it buy a decent sling, as just rawdogging it in your arms all day will not be fun.

The LCT G3 was my 2nd worse OOTB gun ever (beaten by the GHK AK), still not perfect because you can't shim it perfectly, the sector gear is too tight even with no shims on it. However the basic electronics was not something I griped about, most people (incl. me) throw their favorite upgrades in the gun anyway. The shitty midcaps can be fixed with upgrade M4 midcap springs, it's a pain in the ass to change them though. The air seal was crappy, needed a longer nozzle. And the selector plate was out of spec, I had no safe position.

@BisforBlyat2 ай бұрын
Real gun wise the RPD is belt fed with an open bolt flapper lock mechanism. The RPK is essentially just a beefed up AKM with a ticker trunnion, longer/thicker barrel and a bipod. For both airsoft versions the RPK uses standard AK internals, and can use any AK mags (as long as the mags you’re using fit and feed), while the LCT RPD uses proprietary internal parts, and can only use the drum for ammo.
