I have been trying to curb my palette purchases, because frankly I have enough eyeshadow for my great grandchildren, but GOD I want this. The packaging alone makes me fucking itch 😂😂😂😂 It’s beautiful. This video is coercing me to pull the trigger, I’ve been eyeing this baby.

Im so excited for this palette!! I feel like all your thoughts are exactly how I felt looking at it and its definitely the style of eyeshadow I look for. Try as I might, im still such a baby with colorful mattes, so shimmers are really where I can pop off. I need my support basic af mattes to pull that off. And THEN! I was like this is such a gorgeous palette and its an indie brand - there's no way its not going to be like 70+ dollars 🥲 so when I saw 45$?? I was flabbergasted. Really hope I can get this and try out a new brand tomorrow!🥰

I was never able to describe the feeling I got whenever I used certain type of eye pencil in my waterline but spicy bu*thole summes it up perfectly. This is not my first video nor am I a new subscriber and I’ve realised this just now? Shame on me. Anyway 😅 beautiful eye looks ❤ I personaly like packaging more than the colourstory itself but I have to agree that sometimes multichromes deserve the spotlight. This time colourstory and theme work like a charm. Thanks for the video ❤

I agree with you 100% I dont understand all the people that want dark green and purple mattes in this palette, for me that would make it sooooo much less wearable every day. To me they did this palette right! Wearable mattes and fantastic shimmers/duochromes

I actually am really disappointed with this palette. For ME. I wanted deep purples and greens to pair with the multicromes. I want the mattes to be able to stand out. This is a great palette for others, but not for me, and it makes me so sad bc I want the pretty packaging. I want it so bad.

I agree 10000%. I wiiiiiish there was some deep purples, forest greens and maybe even a blurple somewhere, something yk. I love dragons so much and it disappointed me that there was so many neutral tones in such a beautiful concept. I wish I could buy it, but Ik it will die in my drawer 😢

I agree, I was very underwhelmed by the inside compared to the packaging. I don't need crazy colored mattes, but some shades with a little more interest, mustard, olive green, dark teal.... something!

I think they actually missed the mark with matching . that cool outside with the colors inside. I love a basic bitch palette too but I think there could have been a few more vibrant colors. I love your reviews as always.

So, I'm wearing the Oden's Eye holographic shade today and I had the SAME experience with the holo flakes on my phone! It's not like regular glitter--I wiped at it forever and it stayed put. It's a good thing that I like shiny things, because it may be here to stay. I'll have to wash my hands really well next time before touching anything. I'm torn about the dragon palette. I LOVE the Geodes and Monsoon palettes, and this looks...a lot like both of those, but minus some of the bolder shades that caught my interest from them as far as the mattes, even. The mattes in this palette seem even MORE neutral, which is odd considering the theme. I would have liked to see at least one or two mattes that had a brighter pop the way Geodes had the mustard shade and Monsoon had that pink. Maybe a green or a violet? I like the palette, but this is a daytime dragon instead of the nighttime glam dragon that I was hoping for from the brand. I wish they had put this color story together with a different cover, and then done this one with the bolder colors it deserved (and I would have bought both!).

Having the mattes be super neutral and boring so the multichromes stand out is a take I haven't seen yet when seeing reviews of this palette, and actually makes this palette make sense to me, because hi yes I am one of the people massively disappointed the mattes weren't jewel tones like the packaging. I'm still disappointed and not going to be picking this up, but your review at least gives me a valid sounding reason behind why the inside is so sleepy compared to the packaging. It's not how I prefer to do my makeup, but at least it sounds reasonable.

I deserve all the side-eye and heat for this, but I can not take this brand seriously because of their name and lack of punctuation. I totally admit I'm coming off as petty and an assh0le, but I can't help it. What's wrong with "What's Up?", or why is the apostrophe missing in the first place? I'm not saying they don't have good products because they probably do. However, their title, as it is currently, is giving me Ali Baba/Cindy from Stubby Oaks Elementary created a side-hustle kinda vibes. 🫣

They actually started as a local US online marketplace for imported indie nail polish and gradually grew into their own brand. I’ve been collecting indie nail polish for about 8-9 years and I remember when they first launched their own polish brand. They are out of Arizona and have a storefront there. I don’t know if that helps but it’s definitely the opposite of a big evil corporation like AliBaba! However, I can’t explain the lack of punctuation in the name except to say, as a former English teacher, it bothers me as well 😜
