Hi Russell, indeed as stated in the blog post, Shapeshift and TTB are not woocommerce compatible at the moment.

Thrive Themes . So it seems... When you release something in 2020, especially of a ‘theme builder’ magnitude...not including woocommerce support seems something of a poor choice... I know you position yourself as a ‘solopreneur’ centric, but not every solopreneur is a digital nomad, and not everyone relies solely on selling courses and digital products, or even affiliate sales for that matter... Have you ever considered a ‘small’ practitioner or a lifestyle coach, selling supplements in conjunction with their ‘trainings’? What about boutique cosmetic shops, craftsmen etc?

@@Thrivethemes I'm also fairly disappointed in the fact that WooCommerce is not supported. This means I'll have to wait longer before using the theme builder. I understand of course developping a Theme Builder is something no one has ever done, and must have required huge efforts. So I understand, you could not include WooCommerce out of the box. But, I hope the next step might be another out of the box theme included (such as Shapeshift) that supports WooCommerce. Could you give me any estimate of when you think this could be done? Of would there be a workaround to have Shapeshift work with WooCommerce?
@Thrivethemes4 жыл бұрын
@@russells777 Of course we have. And it is on our roadmap. But instead of waiting to make it available we decided to make Thrive Theme Builder available for those who do not need WooCommerce integration while working on making a super solid WooCommerce functionality. - Hanne

Would love to hear about speed of the theme builder. We would love to move over our main site but would worry about the effect on the speed when compared to it's current layout. Also a video on how to change themes without loosing SEO would be a great tutorial! Thanks 😀
@Thrivethemes4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, we're working on speed related content. But in order to have a real valid test we need to make sure to have the correct setup etc. It's really easy to "falsify" speed results and make bold claims! But we've done internal testing to make sure Thrive Theme Builder has a good speedscore. The most important part of SEO are: - URL structure - Meta data - Backlinks Non of these should change with a standard theme switch. But we might make a more in depth video about this :) - Hanne

I was told having wp bakery and thrive architect could be a problem. Well wp bakery doesn’t have what thrive does for landing page building A/B testing and more. Does anyone know of having both can be a conflict?
@Thrivethemes4 жыл бұрын
The real question is, why would you use both? What would wp bakery add that you can't do with our tools? - Hanne
@pineapplecrushme32164 жыл бұрын
Thrive Themes wpbakery came with my theme and until now I really wasn’t getting what a page builder was. I knew but was connecting it to wpbakery or thrive themes 🤷🏽♀️ so it’s my ah ha moment and I like what comes with my theme and not having to build pages from scratch with thrive but I have been wanting to use the thrive tools for landing pages only. Didn’t know it would be such a problem to use both. This is my reasoning.

I am excited about this.. "However", I am finding that Thrive University is so behind the times. I would love a set of tutorials that go from beginning to end, how to create a "converting" website. Include in it ... when to use Optimize, as opposed to Headline Optimizer. Thrive Comments as opposed to Thrive Ovation. What is Clever Widgets? Is "Thrive Ultimatum" only for Thrive Leads? How do you use both of them? 1 - A serious orderly training on how to use Thrive. One of the reasons I am often drawn to switch to Elementor is because there is so much training available online. So many people who do "walk throughs" of creating a website. 2 - An explanation of why these plugins are not combined (other than legacy reasons). 3 - Walkthroughs with various shopping carts .. starting with Woo Commerce, then all the other "big ones". 4 - Walkthroughs with other tools that people commonly use. Whether it be: RankMath, Yoast, Cartflows, various calendars (such as Acuity) to build "highly converting websites for eCommerce". 5 - Walkthroughs and comparisons of all the various learning-management system, whether it be Thrive Apprentice, LearnDash or any other big one with a Thrive Based website. 6 - Integration Walkthroughs and comparisons of all the various member-management systems with a Thrive based website. I recommend offering "high quality gifts, such as 1 year of free membership to people who create quality KZbin videos (that you would "vet" and approve). That would probably be way less expensive than only doing it yourself, and create more variety/styles of training. Plus, people may have their own related upsell, which would be an additional incentive. I have ended up deciding to stay with Thrive Architect (over Elementor) .. but am feeling the pain of "lack of quality training", "lack of 3rd party addons", "difficulty for other companies to integrate well", "confusion as to what is legacy and what is TRULY CURRENT" and so forth. There are probably many more things "training" and "compatibility" wise that people want. I'd ask the community what they want in this regard. And then make it happen. Make it easier for people to support your effort and crowdsource contributions, even if you don't want to make it easy for people to add new widgets to Thrive Architect. Finally, it would be nice if Thrive Architect and the new Thrive Theme Builder either integrated well with WPFusion (the way Elementor is) .. or create a similar tool yourself. So that there be easy ways to conditionally decide what to show a customer/potential-customer on a web page based on their history (and tagging either in an email program such as Mailchimp/ActiveCampaign/MailerLite or other CRM). Doing these things .. but especially the training .. will help people move onto Thrive, and possibly choose Thrive over its excellent competitors (esp. Elementor). Bottom Line - I just made the decision this last week, to make all websites I work on (that are not already Elementor Based) to be Thrive Based. I will still use Elementor for clients that need specific Elementor (or addon) features, such as various cool things for photographers (such as the ability to overlay two photos and have a viewer-controlled horizontal-wiper go between them - to demonstrate various "before and after".) I love Shane. I love the people. I love the thinking. I love the products. I disklike the horrid confusion between the various Thrive products and in the training. I dislike the lack of quality systematic current training.

Since we are a Thrive Theme member I would prefer to migrate our main site to be based on Thrive Theme builder rather than at the mercy of a third party theme that from time to time creates conflicts. So I have two questions: 1- Are there quidelines and tips about how to migrate to Thrive Theme Builder? Is it as simple as swapping a theme - Which of course don't always go as smoothly. 2-Can you provide us with some migration support? Your support team is amazing and have been so helpful on all the products we are using. This would be a great service to us, if you can help migrate. 3- Are you going to have a comprehensive tutorial on all the features and functionality?
@unshakablehabits4 жыл бұрын
Hey Michael, I don't work for Thrive but to answer your question - if your host offers staging, I would use that. I already received the update with Theme Builder and it will definitely mess up some stuff on your site. Although it's all easy to fix I would recommend using a staging area to build your site then simply transfer it over once you have it how you want.
