While this viewer did have a S6 Changli, that was the ONLY character they had properly built on their account. An S0 Jiyan, Carlotta or Jinhsi would have done the exact same job for a fraction of the investment. Spend your pulls wisely and build a wide roster if want to clear an endgame mode that requires multiple teams, ladies and gents.

I'm actually floored on how bad S6 Changli is because I thought that she was just bad at S0R1 level and that can be kinda forgiven but now I see that its far worse than I first thought. I am a bit surprised that Kuro would release a Waifu Bait character like that.

No her damage should have been higher. My changli is s4 and her liberation damage is around 250k without her s. weapon. And since that changli s6 she doesnt need 95% crit rate as she has 25 % bonus already. even 50% crit rate would be enough for her.

I also have an S6 Changli and she can basically solo everything (even inferno rider if I wanted to) And my Liberations normally hit for like 350k on average and the forte is 2x 250k on average so idk what is different with his changli but it could be much better

@@Kinkywinkypinkydinkydo All her sequences give to the team is 20% atk which she herself also gets. More sequences you get for her more of a main dps she becomes. Even here Saint was early cancelling so many Conquests which still gives you forte stack, but misses 3 claw hits. Changli slander is of the charts... I use her on every ToA and she blasts hard, but if a person is more casual and doesn't dive deep into complexities of her kit and cancels Changli isn't something I would advice, not because she's weak, but because when played wrong she loses too much dmg.

I prefer them to rework TOA by not making it into a dps/rotation check. What I really hoped for TOA way back during cbt2 was for them to implement Babel Tower from PGR instead. You are able to choose what level of difficulty and buffs/debuffs you wanted for each stage. Casuals can do the bare minimum and still get the rewards. For those who wanted the challenge have the option and the maximum points is just for bragging rights. You can look up some Babel Tower footage to see how works. TOA right now is just a rotation and dps check and if you're not ultra sweaty you won't even clear it decently Especially on the boss floor it's quite punishing I think TOA mainly makes people prioritize Dps monster units like Jinhsi which is not very good game design I'd like if they implemented a fraction of PPC or Warzone from PGR

I'm also in favor of a total rework of ToA, the current design is honestly, quite uninspired and boring. I think the hologram boss fights would be a much better fit for endgame content than ToA, they have a time limit but it's generous and it's more about learning the moves of the boss and just defeating it is the challenge. Character building is still a part of it because the more damage you deal the easier it will be to not die. We could have a tower where you just simply had to kill two or three hologram bosses with your teams getting locked after each clear and I think that would be way more interesting than the current DPS check.

Where you have player with a S6 Changli AND a player that "knows" what they are doing and you only beat the timer by 23 secs and used a S4 Encore who isnt even considered bad and you literally barely beat the timer by not even 1 second. Also with decent investment and a BP weapon is considered "garbage damage"

​@@DeterjenKonoha As former Klee Main and I got her at C0. You are talking BS. C2 Klee gets a huge dmg buff and can clear the Abyss with ease ,even at C0 with a proper team. The thing with WuWa is that characters always get calculated with their best echos and stats ,and even than they can struggle. You need to use the right element characters that get a buff in that stage ,otherwise it can be hard to finish, because of the time limit. At the end of the day its still a dmg test. Also S6 character being powercreept,after 6 months is not a good sign for the game. We will see how how the state of powercreep will be in 6 months. I just hope they dont go the Honkai Star rail route, where you need to pull for new ,team /dps every 2 months

To answer the title, YES. The way you struggled with the clears and with the number of retries... Most casuals would not go through that. This is still a mobile game and not elden ring. The time limit is so unforgiving. Again it is possible but not for MOST casuals.

I am almost f2p (2 pass 1 suscription since the start of the game). I got jinshi, changli, shorekeeper, camellya, the free XY and carlotta and every standard banner character except calcharo, for weapons i have XYs, carlottas and jinshis, and 2 emerald of genesis, 0 dupes on limited characters, lost every 50/50 except camellyas, every character and weapon 50+ pulls except 1 verina dupe that i got early, so im not what you would call lucky, i cleared last 2 toa first try. My changli deals half the dmg of the one in the video, but my XY is miles better when his' is C5. Its a build and skill problem.

I can say that I'm struggling with this ToA for sticking with charlotta team comb to clear middle. But if you have a jinshi team (premium or budget), you can clear it easily. Since jinshi doesn't get affected by the rules of tower.

Her entire niche right now is that she's literally built for quick swap and her dmg is not something to cough up to as a sub DPS since she does around nearly 350-450k(assuming it's a 70/280 changli) per forte-ult-forte rotation which can be done every 30 seconds. But yes the guys that are defending her for being a good DPS is just delusional, she never was and never will be a main DPS.

I would honestly like to see saintontas ask the people in the comments who can't clear (anymore) to play ToA for them. I think the people in the stream were mostly people who knew/could accept it were their skill issue/Investment mistakes.I watched a bit of the stream and aside from the S6 Changli there were accounts with more "relatable" sequences that just had suspicious investments. Considering he could make most of them work in under 30 minutes really showed me how easily you can improve your characters to be "ready" for ToA. And yes, it took 30 mins because weapons or talents were not maxed. Echoes do play a role but when your Jiyan has a 6/10 liberation echoes aint the problem.

Are you sure about the Encore Rotation? Here's how I play her with Sanhua and Verina: First rotation: E on Encore, immediately cancel to Verina - E, then switch to Sanhua - E R CA swap cancel to Verina - then R Fill concerto by Jump autos then Q swap cancel To Encore - Q swap cancel third auto to Sanhua - 1 or 2 NA Q swap cancel to Encore - the R. Imoortantly: you need the 3rd and 4th autos from Encore to land but u can cancel the 4th one with E or Dash so don't use E at the start. Aim for 3x 4th autos per liberation. So the standard rotation after the first (starting from Encore's On-field time) would be: R-N4-E-N4-dash-N4-E-CA(swapcancel)-Sanhua E-R-CA(swapcancel)-Verina R-E-Jump-xNA-Q(swapcancel)-Encore Q(swapcancel 3rd auto)-Sanhua xNA-Q(Swapcancel) - Repeat Dodging is REALLY good on Encore cause she immediately does 3rd and 4th autos. Edit: corrected a mistake in the rotation idk what I was on

That Changli is poorly builded, like, 3k atk means that she have double atk echo or 1 atk echo + 2 pc lingering tunes (the atk set). I see the other day a godly builded Changli with 1 atk + 1 fire dmg echo and she have only around 2900 atk. Also 95 crit rate, a s2 Changli only need like 55-60 crit rate due to the 25% crit rate for the s2. A well builded S6 Changli only should do around 15%-20% less dmg than S6 Jinshi.

As a casual dolphin who has been getting 27/30 in TOA for a while, I think I will end up with just 24/30 this period. I was looking forward to slowly building up my teams so I can 30/30 TOA one day. But now I regressed. They made the middle towers too hard for players who doesn't have every element built, DPS+Sub DPS+Healer. I hope this isn't a sign for things to come. It is quite discouraging if I used to get 27/30 but one day only 21/30, not because I played any worst but because of power creep. I am all for them making hard core content, but then go create a new event! Leave TOA like it is forever.

i was also 27/30 TOA for a while. All my DPSes are S0, most without signature, all echos are double crit, and rotation probably could be better. Recently started 30/30 TOA because i have shorekeeper and zhezhi. these 2 make up the difference. in short, if your DPS S0E0, then you need good supports.

Really enjoy your videos! Wanted to give you some feedback: I don't think you gave Encore a fair shot in this video, and you repeatedly called her "bad" or "fake" or other negative things, which are simply not true. Respectfully, your Encore gameplay is bad to say the least, and that's okay. I understand that you do not know how to play the character as you do not normally play Encore. Some of her tech (E quickswaps, 3 basic chain R combo) have tight timing windows and take some time to learn. It is also clear that you aren't familiar with some of the fundamentals, like when you repeatedly dodge cancelled her Ult-E and Ult-Basic Chain early, losing very significant damage, and repeatedly not using her Ult-Heavy before Ult expires, which loses another large chunk of damage. To say the character is bad because of your lack of experience on her is simply wrong. I am a completely F2P player, and have played on and off since release. Personally, I have 30/30 cleared every tower that I have played since the release of the game, using encore. On this reset, I easily cleared the middle tower (the only particularly difficult part of this tower, imo) with her, using Encore/Sanhua/Shorekeeper for floor 1 and Encore/Changli/Shorekeeper for floor 2. I have similar Encore echos to the ones in this video, probably slightly better, and use Stringmaster instead of Rime-Draped Sprouts. I have S2 Encore, which according to Prydwen's damage calc's, is ~4% better than the S0 most Encore players will have, and ~14% worse than the S4 encore displayed in this video. I was able to easily clear (>3:30 remaining) using an Encore which is equal to or weaker than the one in the video, due to my experience. I did this even despite having no variation or Shorekeeper signature on my account, resulting in slow Shorekeeper rotations. The character Encore is not bad - you are simply bad at Encore (respectfully). Additionally, many damage calculation resources have decent Encore/Sanhua rotations (correctly) listed as having some of the best single-target DPS in the game. See Maygi's Damage Calculator, for one example. Regardless, please just don't slander Encore or other characters you aren't familiar with before giving them a decent shot. It makes you look bad, both as a player and as a content creator. Again, no hate is meant from this, just constructive criticism, as I really have been enjoying your videos, and hope you keep making good content. : )

What rotation do you use for Encore? I used to clear middle and side towers with her, sanhua and verina (with stringmaster, s0r1, 10-10-10-10-6, 118 er and 81/268), but currently I'm not doing enough to clear middle 1, while half-cooked carlotta with old glacio set managed to 3* it. And I'm doing encore skill -> verina until full concerto -> encore echo -> sanhua skill ult hold atk -> encore brrrrr (1 skill, 1 full basic atk rotation, until 3rd skill, then use skill after ult runs out) rotation. And is nightmare inferno worth it for encore?

I was under the impression he was just playing her wrong too so I took a shot at the same floor with the exact same team he used and managed to 3 star it with a little over a second left. Without s6 sanhua; with s3 encore. She's definitely fine for that, I just don't think he's familiar with how she should be played optimally. Also prydwens dps calcs for encore assumes her worst ult rotation, you would get more damage on an s1 encore doing ult-skill-BA chain-dodge cancel-BA chain-skill-BA chain- default skill- outro then trying to do the rotation prydwen has listed on an s4 encore.

@@CentYT I do have S6 Sanhua - I didn't until this patch (pulled last 3 copies from Carlotta banner), and it is definitely noticeable. Also, I didn't know Prydwen's calcs used the 3 E rotation instead of the 3 BA chain rotation. I would have figured they would use the 3 BA chain rotation since it isn't really that hard, but it is also meant to be a resource for more casual players, which makes sense. TOA is an echo build check while solo run holograms takes more skill by analyzing the boss patterns and dodge-countering them. No hit solo run hologram takes even more skill that the normal solo run IMO. Additionally, if you are a solo run enjoyer u won't have to think about meta.

S6R1 Changli I'm actually surprised on how bad she is I mean she's only par with a good S0R1 character. The EN WuWa scene is full of CC's and TC'ers who love Changli because of Booba and have heavy skill issue. Nah saintontas, I think you just somehow got the most frustrating enemy to clear with sanhua encore. I main her, and that bird is a freaaakin pain in the butt, I hate it soo much, whenever I get unlucky enough, that coward ahh bird dodges and flies away from every single one of encore and sanhua's attacks. Like aahhh I hate it so much. I pair encore with changli now, changli's enemy tracking feels soo great whenever I play against bosses yoinks the fugg out. I can chase the enemy well enough during encore ult, but during downtime changli is the one who does. 30 star? yea its literally impossible, unless they happened to pull the right characters for it, and are insanely lucky with echo rolls. I have very good stats on my character and i usually do at least 27 stars , i know im not very good at the game but my char are decently built a minimum of 70crit rate with 240-280 damage. And i don't think i can get 27 stars this week. i will keep trying but its much harder, specially cause they keep making these bosses that fly around all the time taking away a LOT of the time you really need to clear it in time.

There are a multiple clips of people using only F2P units or 4* to 30/30 ToA. So if any of you can't clear it with limited 5* team then it's likely a build problem or a skill issue.

To be honest they should've just made the element res based on the enemies, if the boss is glacio then it's glacio resistant, No need to add another element resistant. Now the floor buff could cater towards the new resonators but it will still benefit other existing characters as well but not as much as the new resonators.

It's almost like not having dupes or several sig weapons means you're not likely to clear ToA. Even most Day 1 accounts are lucky to have two or three sig weapons. Many have to use 4 star weapons.

I have ZERO 5* dupes, ZERO SIG weapons, just the standard 5* gun and sword, F2P, yet I still 30* the Tower, people just need to better manage their resources instead of dumping all their wishes on 1 character, have a decent build and learn proper rotations, it's better to have several 5* characters than 1x 5* with S6 sequences, 5* sequences are for whales, not for F2P, if F2P want to S6 their characters then fine but they can't complain if they're lacking the characters to clear a multi team mode.

Man im a LOW spender (only the monthly astrite thing) that started playing on 1.2 and I have 5 sig weapons and 5 promotional caracters with AWFULL luck (failed 50/50 three times on high pitty) and with the ToA and events and a lil bit of luck you could get at least half the characters with their sig if you forget about the other half
