That was such a heartwarming video. Of course your daughter would love the Haunted Mansion, such fearlessness. Fun fact, one trip to Disney a friend of mine had her shoe break too. Lucky I always had my backpack full of everything and I superglued her heel back on. We did buy new shoe later but it was a quick solution for the time.

I've been to Tokyo Disney in the rain so many times and it amazes me that no one leaves the park. Also Klook is the best, Disney, Universal, Universal Express passes, Fuji Q tickets, tickets for Mt Fuji attractions all purchased through Klook. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely family outing together. Airi was so adorable holding onto the french fries. That same type of separation which happened to your Mom's shoes occurred to me twice in the past. Once w/ a well-worn pair of sneakers, then another time to an expensive pair of Italian leather dress shoes which I'd only worn one-time to my brother's wedding in the early '00s and sat in their box in a closet for about a decade until needing them for a Christening I was to attend, and the entire bottom came unglued. No idea why, and so had to discard 'em. Was great as always to see you all. I hope your Dad's doing well all things considered and that you enjoyed your Easter Sunday, if celebrated. 🙂

Been to Tokyo Disneyland. It was like....Disneyland-lite! LOL! I was kind of amazed during the parade where there were TALL Japanese female dancers, like all were over 5'6."

Disneyland in California in the rain. Everyone running for cover and bailing on the park in a rush and you have it basically to yourself. I had 15 minute waits for most rides. Everything was clean from the rain when it stopped and was great.

My only issue with Disney, Tokyo is it's so crowded every time we go. However it's still fun and the food there is so much better than US Disneyland

Actually no. Tokyo Disneyland is way too crowded and you really can’t see the shows at all. Orlando still is the best of the lot as 4 parks, 2 water parks, and a shopping area. The entire area is the size of the four boroughs of New York City combined. Not to mention the ease of getting kids around plus the transport infrastructure is so easy to use and it’s free. You have choices of a bus, gondola system, Minnie cars run by Lyft, and the monorail. Very quick and efficient with little fuss. Just on and off. Currently the worst in the Disney park system is Paris as much of it is outdated and guests are being obnoxious.
