I really liked this. Every day, I used to go outside and shoot hoops in my backyard. I shot really slowly though. After watching this, I learned that I needed to shoot faster shots. In a 1v1, I would only drive in for a layup. I wanted to be able to shoot, but I couldn’t ever get an open shot because my jump shot was super slow and not game ready.

Great video. Only problem is I am injured and can't participate in any games for a year now. As soon as I can practice normally 100% I will do what i do in games. Running up and down the court while running at 100% till I ask my coach to sub me out because I am dead. That happens like 5 minutes before halftime. 2nd halftime I either play full time or I get a short break at the end of the 3rd.

One advice from fellow basketball player that is soon going to be pro. Even if you start training in the gym, don't train like a bodybuilder, train like an athlete. Watch PJF Podcasts to learn more about training, it helped me a lot. If you have money, buy PJF programs, if not, you can learn a lot by simply watching his videos. But its worth an investment, it will change your life. You will learn that it isn't about SPECIFIC EXERCISES you do, its how you do them and how u progress. Basically, you can't go straight into bound jumps and exercises like that, you need to build up your body so you can handle that. Good luck in your journey.

My thing is that I am a good player and can get myself buckets easily around the rack. Today me and the team played scrimmage and I was so confused on the court, I was out of sync and got locked up so much, I shot like two midrange shots and that's it, turned the ball over like 4 times or more, I got so frustrated I cried myself to sleep. I usually play hard and get steals and pressure the offense, but as I said I felt confused and played really soft. This never happened to me since I was new to basketball. Is this a slump or is it the fact that I did not touch a basketball for 5 days since I was away from home.
