Is Transformers One a Prequel to the Live Action Movies?

Steven caple Jr also confirmed that rise of the beasts is a reboot (twice), and it connects with bumblebee. Doesn't matter what lorenzo says, he just doesn't want to accept the term "reboot"

You know, Lorenzo is up to his usual tricks, but clearly he has not bothered keeping up with the lore. Let me explain. In Revenge of the Fallen, the original 13 except The Fallen/Megatronus Prime are all dead and buried in Egypt (Earth, just in case you have doubts) In TF One, all the 13 but Alpha Trion and buried in the cave with teeth on Cybertron. I rest my case.

Don't forget that the gi Joe's are now crossing over with the transformers, which does not align with bays movies. Lorenzo's bad way of excuse is that they'll probably change their names to NEST, or they were just wiped out. And also spoilers for TF one: By the end of the movie, sentinel prime dies by megatron which confirms it does not align with bays movies.

Given Transformer's ages, and the fact that they went into stasis before waking up on earth, yeah, it does kinda fit. Heck, in G1, the Autobots landed before humans were even a thing, during prehistoric times.

For me personally I don’t really have any hype for this movie keep in mind I got into transformers during the bayverse and am very much a big fan of them so an animated transformers movie that has no connection to either of the live action continuitys doesn’t sound that appealing. I can see how OG Transformers fans would be into it though especially if you watched the cartoons back in the day

The Autobot and Decepticon war started 1 million years later (10 million years in the past) the second Great War. Megatron started the third Great War with Optimus Prime 1 million years earlier (9 million years ago)🤓

Lorenzo keeps trying to connect any further movies back to the Bayverse. He did that with ROTB too. But he thinks he is smart by not making it clear. His quote was that "ROTB has been filmed so it can be as prequel or reboot depending on the project of the next filmmaker". Quote that people keep treating as a joke, but ended being awfully right. And now he is trying to connect this movie too, because the genius that produced Madame Web knows better.

Just know bumblebee and rise of the beasts are reboots, and the same goes with TF one despite not having any alignments with the reboot films. And plus gi Joe's are now in transformers which were not mentioned in bays movies

A good video and I’m very excited for transformers one however for myself at least According to official interviews with directors and screenwriters and producer from 2018 to 2024, The Transformers bay films, Bumblebee and ROTB and Transformers one are all in the same continuity, while some have used the term "reboot", in film and television, reboot does NOT explicitly mean new continuity which is how most fans use the term. Many shows and films are reboots yet in the same continuity as previous installments such as The Borne Legacy, X Men First Class, Fuller House, That 90’s Show, Heroes Reborn, ICarly 2021 x men 97 Star Trek etc, all are “reboots” yet in continuity to what came before similarly to how Christina Hodson Travis knight Steven caple jr Josh Cooley referred to three films as a "reboot" however also explicitly stated it as being in the same 2007-2017 Bay continuity, a film or show can be a reboot AND in continuity to what came before, what must be understood is that different people ( writers directors and etc) use the term reboot in different ways etc however using the term "continuity" in much better and far more clear. Transformers movies has always plays fast and loose with some plot points but its all officially been one continuity so im interested to see how it all works out considering they have around a few more movies before getting into the Bay era timeline of the first film and onward etc.

Nope! It cannot have the same story for one simple reason: Alpha Trion is one of the 13, and so is The Fallen. The 13 minus Trion are dead in TfOne (their corpses in the cave). The 13 minus the Fallen/Megatronus Prime are dead in the second Bayverse film.

Guys its simple. All the Transformers from the live action movies are not older than 1000 years old. The Primes lived and died about 19.000 years ago, and there is no recorded history of them, meaning Optimus did not exist before that period.
