The Friendship between Orion Pax who then became Optimus Prime and D-16 who became Megatron was shattered in the end after D-16 learned of Sentinel Prime’s true intentions. He then became filled with Anger and Grief. Because of that he had forgotten who he was before he had gone down this path.

I will say for a First Movie Review this was Surprisingly well made, Although there’s 3 Things I have to clarify, 1. I’m ok with the Quintessons not showing up, I’m aware how much of a Threat they are but the whole point of this Movie is how Optimus Prime and Megatron began the Formation of the Autobots and Decepticons, IF the Quintessons had appeared more often it would ruin the Film and we won’t get any Sentinel Screen Time, 2. Elita wasn’t the one that had the Idea of using Arachnid to Expose Sentinel, It was Orion would did a Quick Thinking when Arachnid said I can see Everything showing showing how Clever Pax is with his Sharp Edge and Mind, and 3. Bee was done good enough, I get that the Character didn’t evolve but Bee has done Well Enough, his presence is literally the Beginning to Pax and D16’s Journey to who they are destined to become as it was a Red Flag when they found out that there’s 50 Sub Levels instead of 40, his Creation Steve has the Map, and while I thought he was going to ruin the Movie with the Comic Relief I’m surprised there’s Layers of Humanity especially when Sentinel captures him and Dee and Dee stood up when Bee didn’t want him to stand up because he doesn’t want to see his Friends Hurt, like the Quintessons I’m pretty sure Bee will Develop especially when he losses his Voice in the War, anyway this Movie was amazing, not only is it one of the Best Movies of 2024, but it’s clearly the Best Transformers Movie of all Time, the Voice Casting was Great, the Story with the Evolution of Optimus Prime and Megatron is Interesting and Heartbreaking, Sentinel Prime is one of the Best Modern Villains in a Long Time that he’s definitely giving Homelander Vibes, and the Animation and Setup are Flawless, 10 out of 10, I’m hoping this gets a Trilogy because it deserves it and I would love to see more content from this and the Franchise.

hi I'm Robert I'm using my mom's phone right now. It's clear that transformers 1 marks the beginning of a new timeline a timeline that does not involve the cube and does not involve really anything from the live action movies but it was only a matter of time before they were to make a new timeline that starts all the way back at the Big bang. Cuz even with the live action movies every time they made a movie they would make another one that would change the story and had to be a different timeline and transformers 1 marks a clear beginning for a completely different timeline. To where they could probably make 9 movies not including transformers 1 and obviously each movie would be named after another number so the second movie would be transformers 2 in which we would get to see the war of Cybertron and hopefully by transformers 3 we get to see how the Autobots ended up on Earth which is probably really far away from the transformers star system. But yeah it's cool that there's a lot of potential. And it's also cool that the wisdom transformer transforms into a lion like creature forum which could be seen as a reference to transformers rise of the beast.

In the distant future I hope to create a AU between Capcom/DC/ShonenJump name “The New 53” starting with a Devil May Cry: Sparda prequel story, and THIS movie is the perfect “template” for that: The story of two Lesser Demons name Mundus and Sparda grew in power and overthrew their oppressors, but differences being when Mundus strive for dominance lead him to leave Sparda for death, Sparda actually dies, and reincarnates in a Human Child who would grow up to become Sparda’s successor. Thus Sparda’s very own “Destin One” would begin his very own “Black Myth” to set out to restore balance to the world, by defeating the Man who he once called brother in his pass life. I just hope I can make this happen someday. 😉

Part 2 should be the auto bots vs decepticons then the quintessons come to cybertron to get more energon (because they don't know sentinel died).... so autobots and decepticon form a short pact... after they defeat the quintessons they reveal why they needed all that energon.... it was to activate their home world (unicron).... this is a new time line so anything can happen...

At this point, I've seen the movie, and while it's amazing...there is one scene in the last part of it that soured the experience of its remainder for me. This moment was neither brought up here, and in other videos that I saw that talked about Orion and D-16's relationship, and it's something that's easy to miss, but talking about it will involve spoilers, so read the following at your own consideration: you see, in the last part of the movie, as the four main characters begin their fight against sentinel himself, Orion tells Elita and B that Airachnid, sentinel's spymaster, is the key to bring sentinel down, because her eyes record everything, including all of sentinel's treacherous actions. so, if they will be able to capture her, and show her information to all of Iacon, sentinel will be exposed as the traitor that he is. Now, while Orion explains this plan to his friends, D-16 is engaged in battle against sentinel, and as Elita subdues Airachnid and takes her to Iacon's main comms tower, Orion and B join her...but they seem to completley FORGET about D-16, who STILL fights against Sentinel. Now, whether or not Orion would've stayed with D-16 to fight against Sentinel, I don't think that it would've changed the events that have happened after the info has been revealed about Sentinel to all of Iacon, but it really baffles me that Orion seemingly FORGOT that his BEST FRIEND is in danger! It also sours the rest of the movie for me to a degree, because while Orion's presence wouldn't have changed D-16's actions in my opinion, Orion seemingly ABANDONING D-16 seems to contradict the close bond that the two share with each other. I've seen the scenes where this happens a number of times, and there is no acknowledgement of this action by Orion at all. Am I missing something here?

If this gets to a second movie I feel it will be the war with the Quintesans. They are still thriving thanks to Sentinel Prime and they will not be happy that their slave and food was hindered. Plus they will be pissed at Optimus' message to them. That war should come next then the 3rd movie would be the beginning of the decepticon and autobot war.

Great movie but widh it stuck to the actual lore...the lore has a LOT that could be shown. The portrayal of Megatron in this is close but in the lore is darker and actually explains better why Megatron ended up how he did. You can sympathize more about him as his life of suffering & bring tortured was far worse than depicted.

I have been a fan of this franchise ever since I watched tfp. I especially loved the entire backstory between optimus and megatron which was narrated by ratchet in s1e22 (ig). But I never understood why megatron fell into darkness. Though this isn't the aligned continuity, Megatron finally has a good backstory and a tangible reason for turning into the tyrant that he is known to be. That itself is this movie's biggest win. That and showing how the matrix was bestowed upon Orion, turning him into optimus.
