In order to achieve the most balance in your life, I'd recommend staying off the hedonic treadmill of material goods and bigger houses... and trying to fill your life with more sustainable forms of happiness, like outdoor experiences, or spending time with family, friends and your community. you are so right. i'm only 19 but my mom always told me that money can't buy happiness and i don't like living in a society where you are often judged based on your belongings or looks. people need to sort out their priorities

I Agree. At one point I time we were killing our own animals for foods, no factories and a lot less traffic on the roads. In a why o domt like the ga t that most thing need money to buy, which would change. If it come down to it, I haven no problem sleeping under the stars and travelling, at the moment, it's not that simple

I was born in the 1960s. I think I was born before my time. I see so many young people like yourselves thinking the RIGHT way in my mind....that success does not have to do with money(sure we need plenty of it for things we need to live) BUT that should not be our main goal. It's very rare to find girls like Raya on KZbin. She's so natural. Her hair isn't perfectly made up nor her makeup. Also, i like how she doesn't have a pretentious accent either. Other thing is that she doesn't have the typical skinny body- she's curvy. Maybe Louis fell for her simplicity :)

Im traveling Europe for a year with my amazing husband of 9 years and its AMAZING! I wouldn't suggest it for everyone but for us we find we work very well as a team and fall more in love with each other and the world while we travel and encourage others to do the same:)

I was talking to a friend the other day about how life was different when I had very little. I was fit and healthy because we didn't have a car. We rode push bikes, took our son to the park, went to the library and the beach, walked a lot. We did activities that didn't cost money because we couldn't afford to do otherwise. It was a long time ago. Sometimes I wish my life was more simple, like that again. I think as you earn more money you spend it. Often on unnecessary things. You are also so tired from working so hard you don't have the energy to do those simple things that you enjoyed before. Love watching your vlogs. You are two amazing young people. I hope you get to fulfill your dreams. With people like you in the world there is hope for the future.
