I got into truck driving because I was literally going to be homeless the next month if I didn’t have a job or place to live. I stayed because I like being alone and have very little bills. I have a paid off car don’t pay rent so I just keep stacking cash. About to buy my first truck after 2 years out here

I’m in the same position as you…..I’m single no kids no bills except for my cellphone and will live in my Truck when I get on my own….give me some advice and motivation to get into Trucking because I’m looking hard at it and I like to be alone too…..what’s holding me back is being scared driving that big Rig but I’m guessing once I get trained it will be easier than I think 👍

@cwc8979 shop around. Don't go with the first company that gives you an offer.

I get what you saying as far as getting into the company and finding if it’s a fit.But also keep in mind the more you jump from company to company it looks bad to future employers

Every driver I've met said do something else. Stepmom and Stepdad were truckers.
