Good to know Josh. We found out that having TWIC cards qualifies us for TSA Pre-check too! We just put our TWIC number in instead of TSA issued number. We had to get the cards in order to work at the port. And it lasts for five years too!

I think TSA precheck is excellent.. I have it and it saves me time and the feeling of being violated! For $85 for 5 years it's worth the money.

We have Global Entry with includes TSA pre-chek. Makes going through customs just as easy as TSA. $100 for 5 yrs.

Chase Sapphire Reserve comps one precheck/global entry per account. So definitely worth it for me!

Check your credit card benefits! My Amex pays for Global Entry (which includes TSA Pre-Check) as well as a CLEAR membership. Between both of those, I never take more than 15-20 mins to get through security. Even if you have it, though, make sure to check the lines at security. I’ve found that the regular non-Pre-Check lines are sometimes shorter because so many people have gotten it.

Have you been through TSA precheck at the airport in St. Thomas? We will be going next month and our first time using TSA precheck. Wondering if they use this process and if so did it go smoothly?

There are several different locations- you’ll have to look them up online. We went to 9th street in Kalamazoo.
