The sort of "tomato sauce" that you tried in the restaurant is called harissa and it is a spicy sauce made in Tunisia, it is a typical tunisian thing that you can't find anywhere else. We do speak arabic (Tunisian dialect not the classic arabic), french (because of the french colonosation) and english is our third language. You were extremely unlucky that you came across people who cannot speak english lol because most of the people do so and it also depends on the region you're visiting. For the avenue that you visited at the end, it is called Avenue Habib Bourguiba who was the first tunisian president from 1957 to 1987 after gaining our independance. I hope that you'll enjoy your stay in Tunisia and thank you for sharing your trip with us.

Fantastic video. Gotta give a shout out to the great camera work and photography which never gets credit. Tunisia has had a bad rap from other You Tubers, in terms of tourists getting ripped off and service levels. They are complimentary to how beautiful the country is, but things such as not being able to bring Tunisian currency into the country and the transport links are deemed an issue. But with Yad you get a fresh perspective and for someone like myself who has been sceptical about holidaying in North Africa, Yad is selling Tunisia to me. I hope Yad gets a silver button, so everyone get subscribing to hit the 100k. Beautiful family and great travel knowledge and tips. I am really looking forward to the next vid 😊

Yad is truly gifted and works very hard when producing his vlogs, so it’s nice his efforts are recognized. 🙏 We didn’t really experience bad service anywhere, everywhere we’ve gone, people have been cool and helpful. Yeah Yad is a great talent and you all contribute to brilliant informative and entertaining content and I wish you all success and nothing less. Watching the Tunisia vid was like watching your last London one, to be able to present something that seems familiar, though totally fresh and interesting is a gift. And the take from Tunisia was so different from other vids I've seen. So, that perspective is why I love watching your vids. And hope those that watch subscribe also as you all three deserve that silver button. Thanks again:)

@dacedaine822 You are very welcome. No I haven't been to Tunisia, but I do use You Tube travel videos to plan the places I want to go to and the things I want to see and Yad is one of the best (so for instance the vids you did on Istanbul and Antalya were helpful when planning my trip and my partner was surprised most of the things you showed in Agadir, she missed when she went!) So I was thinking of Tunisia, as looks beautiful and is very affordable, but watching vids about tourists being scammed and service levels made me a bit weary, then I watch your vid and like the London one it opens your eyes and the people seem lovely and the place seems so relaxed in comparison to the more hectic Egypt and Morrocco. But with places like Cape Verde, Africa is looking on the up tourism wise and your videos are brilliantly informative and you have a future star in your beautiful little girl! So hope you all have an incredible trip and really looking forward to another excellent video 😀

In fact, Morocco is similar to Tunisia because Tunisians founded many Moroccan cities and transferred their heritage, culture and crafts to Morocco, and this is the secret of the similarity. Tunisian food is very different, and as for history and archaeological sites, Tunisia is better in this regard. The archaeological site of Carthage, the Carthaginian theaters, etc. As for security, Tunisia is one of the safest countries in the world.

To be honest, I wouldn't go back to Tunisia, unfortunately. I'm leaving Tunisia on Sunday. It's very difficult to find local food, except for couscous. Also, restaurants should have at least decent hygiene. At lunchtime you'll be trying to keep away the flies, and there are quite a few. I would like to mention, based on my experience in the capital, that the only nice thing is the Medina, and the strange thing is that at 7pm there is no more activity in the Medina, everything closes. In Sousse and Monastir there is almost nothing. The streets are very dirty. But the people are very friendly 😊.

A Moroccan sharing negative comments on a video complimenting Tunisia is a common thing it seems!
@TheTruth-mr3ml11 сағат бұрын
@@YadVenturess Don't listen to him, he's a Moroccan who's never been to Tunisia and is distorting Tunisia. This is their habit. When an envious person can't be like you, he distorts your image with lies. Moroccans are known for lying and deception and they always say bad things about Tunisia in any video, not just you. On many other channels, you find them doing the same thing. This is a result of their inferiority complex because historically they were merely subordinate to Tunisia and their heritage is Tunisian, such as the clothing and Carthaginian couscous that the Carthaginians invented, and the architecture came to them from Tunisia. So they feel an inferiority complex and distort Tunisia, while you don't find Tunisians watching videos about them or saying negative things about them, and we don't care about their affairs. Don't worry, my friend, in Tunisia everything is available and the Tunisian people are understanding and educated, and if you need any help, you will find someone to guide and help you.
