I have stage 4 breast cancer. When I first started turkey tail my cancer became stable, probably on the way to remission if I had t stopped it. When I stopped it for 3 months, cancer came back with a vengeance. I noticed my cancer has adapted to turkey tail so I doubled my intake from 8 capsules to 16 capsules a day. Was given 3 months left before I started taking 16 capsules a day. I developed cachexia (muscle wasting) and lost tons of weight and had. I appetite at all. Whenever I find food I wanna eat, I vomited them.. now when I started taking 16 capsules a day, I started feeling better again. This is my first week and I got my appetite back, chills and muscle pain from cachexia has diminished. I’m hoping turkey tail will start working again and live more than 3 months!! I have my own channel and been documenting my cancer journey.

In Dutch, The Netherlands it is called Fairy Bench (elfenbankje) cause it is a perfect place for the muchroom (paddenstoel) to sit on. We call Mushroom paddenstoel cause toads mean padden in Dutch and they can sit on mushrooms. But the higher ones are called Fairy Bench, cause only the fairies could sit on the higher ones, cause they had wings. Thank you for your videos. We have a troublesome lack of clarity and wonder if you could help many of us with this PROBLEM: What are the reasons you and Paul Stamets differ on whether it is best to use the fruiting bodies or the mycelium? Would it be possible to compare your positions and the science behind them without getting into a competitive argument, but to join in your efforts to find the best practices for all?

EXCELLENT video topic! ...though, I have a bone to pick as a person who's been disabled by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (aka MEcfs or SEID). The term 'chronic fatigue syndrome' is falling out of favor, partially because that moniker gravely trivializes the life-ruining effects of this disease. Nonetheless, I get that the study may have called it this, so no shade intended. That said, if you decide to reference MEcfs in another, please don't use clips of people simply looking fatigued. This illness is MUCH more serious than that, and it's perhaps already stigmatized much more than any other debilitating disease. Instead, show people who are in bed in a darkened room with shades drawn. Show ppl being tube-fed through their stomachs, people who have no income or support because they lost their jobs and their families abandoned them. Show images of a cell's mitochondria *not* producing ATP, and the extreme pain & paralysis-mimicking weakness that we endure. I'm happy to consult (no fee) if you need to depict anything related to MEcfs in the future. Thanks for the videos!

My goodness Tony, those cultivated TT look amazing. You should do a video on why NOT to use functional mushrooms as a tincture. Except chaga and reishi obviously, but sooooo many people make them into tincture. The polysacharrides are floating dead in the bottom. We need someone to make a statement on this and I vote for you.

I love mushrooms, I eat them most days, as I cook for my wife and I! I live in Scotland next to some woods. I see many of these mushrooms growing on fallen trees, but always assumed that they were poison! I get my mushrooms from the supermarkets, so one knows that the product is safe! I could not trust harvesting these turkey mushroom to make tea or whatever! But great to know that there is a piece of help there out in the wood, that we humans can take to make our body good!

One problem with studies on this for cancer, most i found so far say, patients who where also on chemo. So, Chemo usually is what actually kills the person, but they have the ability to claim the cancer was the problem when factually, its usually the chemo that destroys the bodies ability to function on top of having cancer. So its hard to take any studies seriously who put chemo on the list, its flapping radiation, radiation causes cancer and it can cause the body to fall apart, we all know. How much is safe? No amount is safe. Can it help, obviously its been shown to help or at least be a placebo. I know id never choose chemo. Getting to where Big Pharma is to blame for more death then anything else. Side effects from the complications of prescribed drugs is the #1 killer, but.... Those who are paid off wont say that. Hard to trust any medicine anymore except the Earth. Earth does not want to profit from our slow enslaved and controlled death process. Its sick, but Big Pharma took over medicine in order to slowly guide people to death while causing more problems to profit from. Some science works today but its more and more very little, they constantly work on managing things, not curing them. There are cures for cancer and have been for 100 years. If you use it as a doctor, they will jail, fine and out right kill some of the people who do it. Ivermectin is said to kill parasites that cause almost all diseases. Now, look at how they have been attacking ivermectin ever since Trump boy told us this. Trump was shot at, at least 5 times. His home, his cars, etc... He was attacked on all accounts from all angles on TV. Why? Because big pharma owns almost all things to do with TV, Radio, News, News Papers and magazines. Beware of the world we live in, ya cant trust much anymore and its sad.

Reshi Mushroom helped me with an infection I was having!! And this stuff helps like right away! You may or may not have to increase the dosage to maximize the benefits. Me personally have to take above the recommended amount. On the other hand if my wife takes above 500 mgs of lions mane she feels jittery. But the 500 mg has helped her with her concussion symptoms so much!

There's no money in natural remedies for pharmaceutical companies, which is why it's so critical for videos like these to see the light of day. I'm grateful to have hospitals to treat trauma and other acute problems, but when it comes to chronic diseases we really need to make a conscious decision as individuals to sidestep these institutions. In these instances the medical industry looks at us like cash cows rather than human beings, and from a financial perspective it doesn't make sense to heal people with such illness when alternatively they can sell them pharmaceutical subscriptions with an endless revolving door of visits to their clinic. Lookin' at you, dia-beetus...

Turkey tail saved me after 12 years of horrible trigeminal neuralgia, which is also called the suicide sickness. I realized true the years I was allergic to meat. Younger I took antibiotics that killed important bacteria in my digestif system. I took turkey tail for 2 months and realized I had not been sick for a week. I can eat meat now, but I became vegan and I think of the animal while I'm eating it. 🥴 Get yourself some. I'm also losing weight.

If you think it might not be your cup of tea, you might be surprised. You might find people who share the same interests you do. Other than that, I know many people that believe mushrooms have made their life better.
