Is Ulrika Magdova Any Good in Patch 5.0? - Legendary Hero Unit Focus

Ulrika Madgova is a deep character with a deep skill tree and tons of potential, but bringing out that potential isn't as obvious as with say, Gotrek or Felix. Rather, she is plainly squishier, a true hybrid heroine with a deadly bow but capable of amazing cavalrywoman charges and short periods of extremely powerful active abilities. Where she starts is incomparable to how strong she ultimately becomes.

Prospertors Armor from the dwarf forge can provide both stalk and snipe. Its a steal for 200 oathgold.

@@ruru_dake6490 Thats right. Felix and Ulrika cant equip runes. But they can use armour, weapons, and other items crafted in the forge.

I wanna see a hero stack with Markus Wulfhart, his 4 heroes, Ulrika, Gotrek, Felix, and that other new guy that came with the last DLC - Theodoric I think he's named? All they'd be missing is a few halflings to have their own Fellowship.

After all the buffs she gets, she sounds like the most powerful Hero in the game. She is the only character who is a combined melee fighter, spellcaster and can attack from range. And she is very good in all 3 areas. She even does very respectable amount of AP damage. Super OP.

She's up there, but I haven't seen the details of every hero even now, such a huge game, so "most" powerful, I'm not sure. I'm prepared to say I think she's the most versatile. That's how the video got this long...

My taste in music? ^^ I appreciate your patronage regardless. I spent long periods watching Total War videos here and there without actually playing 3, keeping track of it in case I ever wanted back in. Turns out I did, when Immortal Empires/ Chaos Dwarfs rolled around. There is no wrong answer.

She's definitely nice to have, though we are getting to a point where there is a kind of overwhelming number of Legendary Heroes for Empire... and probably more to come. She certainly makes an interesting pairing with the Golden Knight... but then, she competes with the almost certainly Caster Lord for Winds of Magic.

She is alright imo For the dwarfs I only use her to get magic (lore of shadow) It’s a pretty great lore in small size :) Her boosting arent really useful so far for my drawes

@@OffToBattle it’s an interesting campaign, but getting 800 kills with cannons in small size…. That probably take the whole campaign. I wish they would scale back some of the missions depending on if you play on small m, medium or large/ultra

I think she compliments Malakai's faction/army exceptionally well compared to use in other factions. Malakai doesn't have access to spellcasters besides rune magic, and her particular skillset of being fast also compliments a slayer army. Early game her spells synergise quite well with slayers, as slayers have high speed and melee attack, and something like penumbral pendulum ensure the slayers trade super cleanly against their first one or two enemies, and that usually snowballs into one side of the enemy line collapsing/resulting in a quick win and taking much fewer losses. Not to mention campaign movement range is huge for Malakai personally since his army is so critical for his faction's sucsess.

I don't know if I had to go through the same hoops Franz did, but you end up with a dilemma to end her or recruit her. Of course recruit her.

The Chinese built the walls to keep Mongols out because Mongols couldn't bust them. So the mongols "recruited" Chinese siege engineers to take them down for them
