Great video! Honestly I didn't have idea it was released in 2018, I saw it was coming to steam and I got hyped for a 'new' Utawarerumono game, but I guess It's a disappointment. It honestly looks to me like a lazy way to squeeze some money from the fans, even though there's obvious effort in the characters and the environment, everything else looks so meh... Anyways, I liked your analysis of the game. Keep it up!

Oh no, you should not do that. As Zan tells an abridged version of the story playing Zan first would ruin Deception. So if you care even a little about the story, play Deception first

Yeah that’s fair, it is a drastically different game from the main ones and the story is utterly terrible. I was enjoying the ost when playing but couldn’t find a good quality soundtrack online which was sad. Was this your first game in the series or do have you played the others?

@@Lytane I watched the origional anime, then went into mod/mot right after a few years back. I recently picked up prelude then went through mod/mot again, completing the dream arenas this time too. I originally thought Zan covered both games, and was very disappointed to find out that Zan2 still hasn't been localize. The worst crime is how when the characters talk, their mouths just constantly bop up and down, even when they take a pause or sigh, it's an absolute sin. I don't even think I would have finished the main story if Zan wasn't the only entry in the series where Oshtor/Ukon are playable in both their forms.
