It's gonna sound weird, but I not only enjoy The Lion King 1½ because it's overall very funny and really well-done, but it's especially because of the whole meta-thing of Timon and Pumbaa watching the entire movie by themselves, surprisingly enough. ... Mostly because I'm a sucker for meta humor like this, and TLK 1½ really hits it for me

As a fan of the original, I was wowed from start to finish and thought it rocked at first, they changed some stuff here and there, but everything else was the same. Also, I teared up at Simba and Nala's version of Can You Feel the Love Tonight. I was just hit with a wave of nostalgia and was wowed by all the visuals and how real everything looked. One of my favorite parts was the Lion Sleeps Tonight sequence.

I just replayed this recently and feel about the same way about it as I did when I finished it the first time. Great pixel art, fun combat system, and I love the chill/melancholy music. All the elements are present to have a great Metroidvania, but the dev team just failed to make a more memorable game in terms of the story progression and world building. Like you mentioned, it should have had way more focus on time travel and how the environment changes from your actions. I wasn't a big fan of the infamous dating quest line. It's like I was playing some teenager's fanfic. 😬 All the bones are there, but not much meat to get into. The game just kinda leaves you wishing it was executed better.

I enjoyed The Alliance Alive when it came out in the 3DS. Personally I don't think its that good based on the story. I give it a 7.5/10. If the remastered brought new content and level up the story then maybe I would've gotten the remastered and give a different score.

Man, I feel that paranoia of being awake and active during "quiet hours" and suddenly everything feels 10 times as loud. Doors creak like they've rusted. Your knee or toes find every edge with a thump that HAS to be too loud... but as a kiddo I wasn't aware of how distance affected things. I was on the lower level of a split level home, my parents' room was 2 staircases up and on the Other Side Of The House 😂

I wouldn't say the graphics are better. The perfection of the old pre-rendered stuff has been replaced by visuals that look like their from an iPad game.

Overall I thought the show was pretty good(it’s hard to beat the first movie). The two episodes I thought were the most touching were Eye of the Beholder and Seems Like Old Crimes. I thought it was sweet how Aladdin turned himself into a snake so he could still be with Jasmine, and later that Jasmine sacrificed herself to save Aladdin from Minos, Fatima and Aziz. What did you think about those two episodes

One of my favorite moments from the movie that I also LMAO at was the part much later on when Bill Pullmans character as the dad is completely wasted off his ass in the bar and he's sputtering out abunch of nonsense to Caspers brothers. I actually don't consider them villainous because they were his brothers. They just busted his chops once in a while as brothers generally tend to do.

This is actually a great game based of a movie and I have beaten it multiple times. Characters are all recognizable from the 1995 classic film. I remember Carrigan Crittenden was played by Cathy Moriarty who you might remember as one of the moms in Kindergarten Cop.
