@@NdauTribe13 bruh Zimbabwe literally has 500 meters of the falls while Zambia has 1.2. Im speaking facts not just made up numbers. However the Zimbabwe side has a wider view of the falls while Zambia has a knife edge view of the falls. Both angles are good to view from nevertheless.

@@NdauTribe13 Zimbabwe got lucky because the border was drawn in the wrong place. The people on both sides on that part of the river are Tonga. Since 95% of the Tonga live in Zambia, and only 5% live in Zimbabwe, Mozambique and the Botswana, the river is rightly Zambian. You Shona should not be coming from Masvingo to spread confusion. The river starts in Zambia, flows in Zambia for most of its course, gives the name to country Zambia, and gets its name from the Tonga people who always called in Kasambabezi; how are you non-Tonga Zimbabweans involved in this?

David Livingstone was not an explorer. The KhoiSan had been in the area for 15, 000 years and the Tonga had been in it for 1300 years. The Kololo arrived there 15 years before he did, and they are the ones who told him about the falls and took him there.

Am glad the proposal by Disneyland to build($300million) biggest theme park in Africa in Victoria falls was disapproved by Zim government as the falls should remain in its natural state without the influence of modern infrastructure which would subsequently compromise the ecosystem of the area eg. wildlife etc.

It’s such a hectic time with this Covid, we also can’t even leave the country to come back home anyhow, so! Victoria Falls is in a class of its own. It is both in Zambia & Zimbabwe because we’re twin sister countries. Where the river comes from in Zambia, we call it by its real name Yambeji or Yambezhi & we swim in it. Try the Zambian side top up your experience of the falls by walking on the Knife Edge bridge.

A Zimbabwean man domiciled in, and visiting from, the UK fell into the falls and died, last Christmas. It's good to note they have now placed barriers on that section of the Falls, even though it takes away some of its natural look.

No one is saying he discovered it,she said he was the 1st European to see the Falls,but it was locals who took him to the location.Speaking of Europeans,the Portuguese had visited the area Centuries before Livingstone was born and some believe they could have seen the falls long before him,so there is doubts weather he was 1st European to see it in mid 19th Century,while Portuguese had visited the area in 16th Century.

@African Tigress Great content. Try visiting the Mosi-Oa-Tunya in mid-January. At that time the falls are full enough but not too much to shower/spray you. Loved the view from the Zambian side though.

The view is magical on the Zambian side. The water that flows in the falls is on the Zambian. The source of the Zambezi river is in Zambia known as the kaleni hills. The knife bridge is spectacular. I wished you crossed over but you only visited one side.

If still you don’t believe it there’s veritable proof that you can see many of the Victoria falls sides on the Zim side. So that should prove what I am saying. Also more people visit Victoria falls on the Zim side. If Zambia had most of the falls it wouldn’t be the case. These are facts not because I have a stake in Victoria falls. I don’t live there therefore it’s not like the money goes into my pocket but if again you still don’t believe me you are entitled to your opinion.
