I have recently discovered this podcast, and I am loving it! great work, mixed up-to-date topics, down to earth, and I do appreciate the chit-chat at the begining, it definently adds something to the show.

Glad you guys are getting into video! I feel like the video and audio are out of sync or there's a lot of video stuttering / missing frames. It's early days so all good!

We're actively working on that. Riverside isn't capturing reliably and we're experimenting on platforms to get us full quality.

You should cover treeshaking further, css, and frameworks. Some libraries you can’t shake and are left with the min file that’s already minimized but still has dead functions. Then you should mention the best treeshaking methods and frameworks. First time watching this channel, well done Daniel suns.

Since Wes's courses came up, I have been working on different versions of the Sick Fits app in various stacks since it was such a good learning app for me in 2020 when changing careers. Is the Sick Fits repo open to PR's and I was also wondering if it was ok to use the different versions to teach different concepts?

Congrats on starting to do this with video 👏 Looks like something’s happening to the episode cards that pop up on the screen whenever you mention an episode - they come in really poor resolution.

Without the virtual dom, would React have been as successful as it has been cross tech? What I love about React is that I can use the same logical and simple top-down component rendering "syntax" to create not just websites, but also PDFs, emails, CLI, native apps, videos, 3D-stuff, etc... Like, sure, Svelte, Solid, and all the "new kids" are cool and fast, but... yeah...

Totally. All of those things are great, ie rendering things beyond websites. But if 99% of what you are build are websites, using the real DOM is a lot nicer.
