Amy, I've been waiting for you to post so I can thank you! I was a Materialist until I had an OBE last year. It lead me to decide to try manifestation. I used to think it was fanciful and not how reality works, but My mind expanded and I just decided to try it. I wanted to manifest braces/orthodontics. I was lucky that I had a sudden inspired realisation pretty early on, where I just knew I was getting them (despite having no money or any external reasons for believing this). I felt absolute joy and alignment that went on for months. I was just so happy. The depression id had for over 15years spontaneously healed. I had an extreme fear of the dentist and knew, intuitively, I had to overcome that as part of the process. I did this by going to like 5 different dental appointments in quick succession, at different practices, as a kind of exposure therapy. This was the biggest challenge of the process- overcoming the fear. The story is so long, but basically I ended up being offered braces for free! I went to an orthodontist even though I had no money for braces (they're £5000), just to get into the role of a person who was getting them. I eventually told My dentist I wanted them but might not have the money, and asked him to write to a dental hospital. He told me, 'I'll write, but I want to warn you that it's almost a certainty they will say no, and they might not even reply'. I wasn't worried, because I knew they were coming somehow, even if this wasn't how. After months of feeling the alignment, I heard back from the hospital and went to see the NHS orthodontist. I only saw him for 5-10mins. He said to me, '[im not supposed to] don't tell your friends, but I will do this for you. I'm happy I can help you'- It was amazing! When I went to my 2nd appointment, a professor (I was at a national health service hospital being treated by post grads working under professors) who was working there, (he wasn't even treating me directly) came over to help the postgrad. Out of nowhere he offered me lingual braces! These are cosmetic braces that go on the back of your teeth- they're worth £10000! After he left, The post grad who was treating me turned to me and said, 'I can't believe he offered you that, they're not even available for free. You just won the lottery'. When I saw my dentist, he was stunned, he couldn't believe I was getting them for free. He said he'd never heard of something like this in his whole time of working. He didn't even think they would see me in the first place, so he was surprised they even responded to his letter. But, of course, I wasn't shocked. I felt a connectedness to the universe that was worth as much, maybe more, than actually getting the braces. After the first seeing the first orthodontist, I walked out of the appointment so overjoyed, feeling so much gratitude and love, I said, 'even if I don't get them, this experience of manifesting is worth so much to me, I'm so grateful, and I'll still be happy'; I meant it so sincerely. That was the 'detachment moment'. I have much more to write, but this is already long. Your videos helped me so much during the process. You're extremely talented when it comes to explaining this stuff. I have watched so many videos and yours are the best. Whenever I was unsure of what to do, I found an answer in your videos. You gave me the security that what I was feeling and doing was 'correct', so I barely doubted myself. I have wanted braces since I was 10, my mother is abusive and withheld medical treatment and I had an eating disorder that damaged my teeth, so, as you can imagine, I had a lot of fear and resistance to overcome. Looking back, I'm so amazed and proud that I manifested an object on a topic that was so painful and caused me so much sadness. It is one of my greatest achievements. There was a period of deep sadness in the middle of the process, which occurred after the alignment, (a kind of purging of emotion) Your videos helped me to process the sadness. You're resistance videos are so clear and so insightful. All your videos are. I'm now able to transmute both fear and shame, almost easily (which is an amazing life skill to have). Thank you so much, Amy! I've manifested £8000 separately and other things, but manifesting braces was the most moving, rewarding experience. It was my first conscious manifestation. It inadvertently healed my depression and taught me to deal with my anxiety. Thank you for your help, I love you! 💗💗💗💗

I was living with them for so long without the faintest idea that it was even possible to do so. Your explanation of how to embrace the fear/resistance and incorporate it is so clear and resounding and I'm so grateful to you for sharing your knowledge and so thankful that I found your channel! I told myself throughout that my negative emotions were 'OK', which was pivotal, I believe, to my success- and I learnt that from you. It's not just your resistance videos though, they are all amazing and I seemed to be attracted to the perfect video of yours depending on the stage of creation I was at. I guess I'm lucky, because I've always managed to get anything I've really wanted, even when I didn't realistically expect that there was any way to do it. At first I thought it was just blind luck... coincidence. But later on, I noticed a very particular pattern to things. This caused me to start digging and studying. Now, I still can't really control it the way I'd like, but I'm certain that anything I set my mind to having, I WILL get. It's just that whole pesky "how long is this gonna take" thing that I still don't really have a handle on. Oh, a few things I've just recently had come my way: A new laptop, a new way of connecting to the internet, a new stove and fridge ( my old ones came with the house 25 years ago ), and I seem to have a new truck on the way. ( This last is something I've wanted/needed for about 3 years now, but just couldn't afford yet. )

Thank you so much for your informative videos. You explain things so clearly and I don't feel like I'm watching a 15 minute infomercial. I'm glad that you mentioned talking to yourself as a way to manifest. Although I'm pretty good at visualizing I will often pretend I'm talking with a friend or relative describing my manifestation in the present tense until I find myself smiling as if they're really there with me. Guess it's a good thing I live alone LOL. I just subscribed so I'm looking forward to many more manifesting tips!! Take care!

One of the clearest explanations I've heard on the topic. Visualization helps with task/event performance/behavior. consciousness helps hold focus and presence for the resistance that arises in experiences, so that vibration can be monitored real time as opposed to a discreet time period of "doing something." For example, a desire for patience/dont want anger or irritation needs full time presence but once the resistance is released you become patient, i.e. you dont have to think about it anymore. That is alignment with your desire. That's my additional 2 cents to this wonderful video. Hope my ego is pleased now;)

If I try to visualize it feels awkward and forced, but if I just think about what I want I get a natural visualization, that often times, like Amy says, is kinda foggy and vague but it always has a feeling (ie vibration shift) and that’s what matters. I had a question about visualization, I love visualization but sometimes it feels like a chore to me like I HAVE TO AND NEED TO visualize everyday in order to achieve my goal which isn't much fun, because I beat myself up with negative thoughts when I forget to visualize.I actually just wrote to a loa coach about other process/tools to manifesting a goal and to come on here and see you answer this so clearly is amazing and a gift to me. Wow so good! I like to look at pictures or make virtual vision boards; some of the things in those boards materialised quickly; also, be careful what type of photo you are using for your phone's home screen; I ended up manifesting the stories in two of those photos :)

this is fascinating. I'm also a student of Neville Goddard, and he places greater emphasis on *visualizing* the End fulfilled. For me, it is an inner "feeling" seeing that comes into focus, if this makes any sense. I embody the imagined feeling state of the thing I desire. When I force a visualization, it feels so . . . effortful and resistant. Thank you for this clarifying video!

The majority of manifesting methods are designed to help you shift your dominant feeling, but I find that working through resistance and releasing limiting beliefs has a really big impact on the dominant feeling. :)

what if when deliberately visualizing occasionally makes me feel good and usually during the day whenever the thought comes over im calm and contended kind of satisfied-happy but not that happy to jump off my bike unlike before where whenever the thought would cross id be worried have been seeing repeated triplets of numbers quadruplets sometimes and that too couple of times a day since the last month

illuminatingjoy not really but perhaps it is easier because it is bigger and you don't really focus so much on it as it seems it won't happen. The little things are much more present. I hope that makes sense?

Yep, then it sounds like you are able to embrace the idea it might not happen more easily on bigger things than the smaller, more immediate things. I recommend practicing (deliberately) on accepting the "idea" 'that the little things won't happen either. A few phrases I like for this are: "Reality, I give you permission to remain the same," and "even though I think it will happen, what if it doesn't?" and "I might not happen." It seems strange at first, but as you engage your mind with these ideas and find a way to be okay with them, that releases any resistance to them and if they are the only reason something hasn't manifested, they often suddenly manifest because you've accepted they won't. It's a fun paradox to get the hang of. :) Play around with it as an experiment.

It's more about how you feel when you think about it than whether or not you are focusing on it or not. So the goal is to feel love for it and not need it when you think about it deliberately and when it naturally crosses your mind. I've had manifestations happen where I've totally forgotten about them until they resurface AND I've had manifestations happen when I was actively thinking about them everyday, wondering if they were going to show up or not, so it's more about how you feel rather than how often you do or don't think about it. I recommend practicing as much as you can with lots of little things you don't really have any attachment to so include those into your practice while working on the main things you are manifesting. You can ask for as many things as you want, it's just helpful to focus on one or two at a time to work through resistance, but there's no limit really. It's more about reducing resistance when manifesting so if you feel better to manifest one at a time, do that. If it feels better to do two and go back and forth, do that. HAPPY MANIFESTING! :)

One Question: Should I feel good like I already have what I want OR Should I only feel good about the possibility of what I want be quite feasible? Because in the other video you said that we can't be dead sure of getting what we want.... being sure that it's possible would be enough.

I say feel good about the possibility only because if you get too wrapped up in "what" you want, then sometimes you can become obsessed with "when" it's coming and "how" it's coming, which disallows with acceptance of now! Just believe it "can" happen and the universe will take care the rest:-), I hope this helps.

I think you could replace vibrational match with feeling or state. It’s all the same thing, really. The feeling is the secret. Your state. The only important thing.

Hello Amy! I have this question for you: Personally, I feel that I have totally released resistance on my desire since I stopped feeling any sort of negative feeling about it for quite a long time now. My source of insecurity though is the fact that even though I feel good about my desire and have no contradicting thoughts and feelings, I don't seem able to be able to get emotionally at the end result and feel the way I would if it manifested. I am clear about the fact that this is something I really do want to occur but I have totally made my peace with the fact that it may not appear, I feel good about myself and I totally believe I can get it. Do you think that if there are no negative emotions and thoughts, the existence of desire itself alone is enough as a focus for the desire to be manifested? Thank you in advance!

Then you probably have a hidden limiting belief that contradicts your desire but feels "normal" to you (you're just not aware it's a limiting belief). List out all the things you believe about what you desire and see if you can identify both positive and negative beliefs then work on shifting the negative ones.

I'm wondering this too on a subject matter where I don't really KNOW what it would feel like. I feel like if I knew then I could get into the feeling. I suppose what I should do is manifest that I get a realization of what it would feel like! Then feel it. Best I can do now is feel a general "happiness".

Hi Amy! I have a question. Every time I visualize what I want, I cry - tears of joy, so happy. Also, I put a image that represents this desire in a file in my computer, and every time I see it I smile a lot. I'm just worried if I'm imagining it or seeing it too much. because I saw the video that you mention we need to detach the desire. Can you help me with this, please? I remember that last year I used this technique and really worked. Oh, most important: every time I visualize it I say: "I always knew this would work" because of a video you posted. Look into parallel realities. Once you understand parallel realities, the question about free will disappears and is resolved easily and beautifully. Parallel realities also resolves the idea of competition for the same one thing as there is not just "one prize."

Choji Mendoza If that's what you truly want, first intend to get over them without thinking you need to know how, the Universe takes care of the how. Second, let it be okay you still have feelings for them. Third, keep intending it everyday, while also letting it be okay you still have the feelings. The Universe can manifest any intention, it's up to you to set the intention and accept "what is" in the meantime.

Yep, it doesn't feel good at first, but it works faster than anything else I've experienced. When we resist how we feel, it persists. When we surrender to it, by letting it be, by letting it be okay, the feeling sticks around for a bit then naturally fades away - just repeat letting it be if it comes back later.
