Is VRChat Plus REALLY worth it? (2024)

@@Parzeval Yep, VRC+ is required to CREATE groups (up to 5 now) but you don't need an ongoing sub to maintain it, save for posting images.

If only VRChat Plus was half the price (kinda at the Twitch subscription price level). I bet 3-4 times more users would actually subscribe to it regularly and more willingly gift it to their family, friends etc.

As VRC+ stands right now, I would not consider it really worth $10 a month. BUT, as I love the platform, I want to support the developers and hope the funds gained from VRC+ can be overall beneficial to everyone in the long run by helping on the financial side of things for VRChat.

I think if all you do is play VRC all day than vrc+ makes sense. You're supporting the game while also enhancing your experience a bit, but I do think if you only play VRC here or there, then it's not worth it.

something i wpuld personally like is the ability to uplpad an avatar privately to an account that is not pc aka someone like ,e who wants to buy a custom abi from booth or gunroad n not give out my account to the uploader this would let many quest only users habe the same benefits of pc users just an 9dea worth memtioning

So I have a subscription with a payment on wednesday, but I can’t pay it until friday. Is all of my features going to be removed immediately or will I have time to pay it on friday before that happens

Do you have to pay ones it ends or does it automatically pay for you and if you loose vrchat+ do your avatars and profile still save so when you buy it again?

It's a subscription, you need to cancel it if you want to stop in your Steam subscription's menu, I believe it also stops if you have no funds in your Steam wallet and no alternative payment options. anything you saved while you had vrc+ gets saved for you to use when you re-subscribe to it. It's simply not accessible while you don't have vrc+. hope that helps ^^
