I love how War Bonds single handedly makes EVERY economy item NOT completely useless during Mithrix The fact I could even argue Pennies + War Bonds being an equal combo to Drone Parts + Empathy Cores is legitimately hilarious

Problem is Pennies + Warbonds = Need to get into danger and allow yourself to be hit. Drone parts + Empathy cores = Can go wherever you like, like not into danger.

Considering War Bonds has the word Missile in the name, it's thus expected to work with ICBM and if it doesn't work then we have a bug on our hands that gearbox needs to fix.

just did some quick math on this. it looks like every hit of war bonds is affected by all items and does have a proc co. (as seen by it procing bands in the vid) as such, i tried to find the items you would need at minimum to one shot a boss with one war bonds. and uh. it's not much. the easiest way to ohko any ror2 boss with war bonds is to have a minimum of 3 ap rounds/watches and 2 bands. (works with only 2 runalds bands too) this should result in all 20 hits + bands dealing a whopping 102% (100% if 2 runalds bands) of the bosses health. so uh this may be the best item in the game or close to it, might be fun to see a 7 item run (war bonds, 3 watches, 2 bands, pennies) while it's still broken

luminous shot plus false son is a crazy combo, each spike counts as a secondary use so shooting three spikes gives you the lightning for free, plus his slam counts as a primary so you basically one shot bosses with no other items

What about luminous+mul-t with power mode. Secondary ability is free to cast so you can build it up as much as you want

your entire reason for not liking breaching fin is changed now it has a limit to the knock up based on stacks and it knocks UP not away its amazing on everyone bc it also makes airborn enemies take more dmg

The issue with breaching fin is only really there with aoe moves, it’s not great to have it hit enemies out of merc’s slicing winds for example.

@@blackwillow7342 Im not certain about other survivors, but one fin does send them high enough that the last few slicing winds hits misses the enemy, which means it doesn't give them expose. I'm not saying fin is bad, the extra dmg most of the time makes up for missed attacks, but it's just something to be aware of for some survivors.

@@th3bear01 I also wager that a ton of survivors have negative synergies w other items, this doesn't really make the situation that much more different than, for example: getting shurikens on captain and missing a band proc on air strike because your m1 fired a ninja star out with just enough dmg to trigger it.

WAR BONDS HAS A PROC COEFFICIENT?! i was wondering why it felt so mf strong i just assumed that with the buff seemingly being a bit buffed it was doing more than 20 missiles from like, the buff stack depleting thus allowing for more money to stack it back up. Kinda broken. Also yeah, theres no way it carrying through stages is intentional. Busted. As it is currently, I'd say its competing among the best legendaries. Universally beneficial, and yk. Can even get a few restocks during Mithrix stage 2/3.

I got 58 stacks of War Bonds because of Benthic and since the stacks carry over from stage to stage I went to Void Locus and got all 280 bombs I needed to one shot ALL THREE PHASES OF VOIDLING I didn’t even finish the first parkour section

Breaching fin is okay imho, it makes targeting big enemies slightly easier since they'll be knocked above all other enemies and thus slightly easier to hit for some time, plus it's another debuff for deathmark. However on smaller targets it just makes you miss a part of your shots/skills. It's aight, not amazing.

Maybe as a balance warbonds should stack based on your current money. So spending money loses stacks and it spends the money each time it fires during the event, until out of money or the max number of shots is fired.
