If you play anything other than medic, you will have fun. But the medics shotgun is literal gorilla ass-dick. Shotguns are stupidly situational and don't do enough damage at mid ranges. Bullets are cancelled when you're killed, making it seem like you shot someone but they take no fucking damage. Automatic weapons are the fucking meta and anything other than that is either useless , extremely situational or just unbalanced as fuck. The medic is quite literally the worst class in the game, the viable weapons of the medic are way too limited. Plus, the game is pay to win. Most snipers are a one hit kill on body hit. You could equip an "anti-sniper body vest." But it makes the game even more pay to win.

@Salty C yeah that's kinda bull about the medic there, since with proper knowledge and at least average aiming you can absolutely dominate with a shotgun and a good pistol for the pesky long range targets. Myself, i go with the Remington 870CB and the Grach, and i make the riflemen and snipers have a run for their money, all the while i'm reviving and healing them and mysell all the damn time!

Top tier guns give you an edge over opponents but it's not that big. All you need is 2 well placed bullets and you'll take down anyone. However those guns make life much easier for less experienced players.

Aight i'll throw you my story: i had a group of friends that liked to play with strategies, so we once figured we should try something with the medics once we got bored of planting claymores everywhere and sniping people in the face with the AK-103. We planned and formed the "tridoc spearhead": 3 medics, one with a big fat room cleaner shotgun (USAS-12), one with something agile and semi-auto (Benelli M, Saiga BP), and another one with a good pump-action(Remington 870cb, Hawk pump, Benelli nova). So we liked Vault a lot, which is the map i'm using as an example- we grouped up when all the 3 of us were online and tried to go to places the enemy team neglected, so we'd pop up behind their lines and royally mess their shit up. The formation was like this: the roomcleaner doc would go ahead and bait\murder\maim anyone, other 2 docs would be a few steps behind ready to finish his mess and revive him, and we were the nightmares of many a stray "practicing clans" for a while in the Brazilian localized warface. Each medic knew their role and abilities - i was the pump action guy, what with my unusually sharp aiming, my older buddy was an avid unreal tournament player, lightning reflexes, so he manned the sweeper, and the more freshly acquainted dude had the semiauto benelli 'cause it was his favorite gun and he had specialized in it. Our method for dealing with distant targets was also quite fun - we'd all just carry colts and when someone was out of reach of a pump action, we'd just switch and snipe him with the revolvers all simultaneously! That ain't something we could do with enginerds or riflemen, cause the moment one of 'em died, the formation was done for, and now our buddy is sitting out hoping some wild medic comes to aid him. This tactic saw some success in Plant the bomb mode as well, but at times the enemy team would just be waiting for us in a loose group in B while the rest of our team went for A and so, when they were skilled, we couldn't wipe them out fast enough, and got our asses handed to us. As for medics alone in a non-respawning mode, yeah that can be kinda crappy, since players are usually more careful and more eager to murder ya in a hurry when they got only 1 life per round. Some of my highest killstreaks, if not the highest in free for all, though, was with medic class, so well-trained medics are no joke!

The thing about the money system later is it gets hard to get money since you use f2p armor since it gives you very good buffs. But you have to pay to repair your armor and weapons witch makes you loose more money than you make. So you can’t really play with armor unless you have boosters witch is kinda messed up I don’t know if this is just my opinion if it’s not just mine. But I have spent money on this game and I play it a lot and I am on a warface World Cup team.

I personally have been playing Warface for a while and I enjoy it. I don't use real money to buy anything and I love the gameplay, it feels well balanced and the gear you need to pay real money to buy is more for the enjoyment of getting to use it and not really anything to do with improved performance. I only have one issue recently which is that the graphics have gotten so good that my computer can't keep up with it, so it ends up lagging and I can't play, this is something that I hope to fix with a better graphics chip or a better laptop, I'm currently using a VAIO but I do also have Overwatch and can say I like that game too.

This is a thing of the past. As of 2021, it's no longer F2P-friendly, it's ridiculously P2W now. Even if you're an old player returning with the past best weapons, you won't stand a chance against the newer P2W weapons

this review doesn't reflect the game too much, like no offense but you haven't REALLY played the game. You never went past lvl 13 ( you got your ass handed by noobs, not "veterans"), pay to win is an aspect that reflects differently, it's not the gear you can buy it's the guns and skins. Female skins are very very skinny and some guns are blatantly broken due to ease of use compared to the stats (no skill required to use some). You just haven't played the game, the solid gameplay you mention is ruined by bad ping players (i noticed some of it in your gameplay) and bad servers (lag, bugs, . If you spend actual time in it you'll notice. this review is too nice. The aspect you looked from is from a noob's (again no offense), because you can have a fun time there - nobody exploits or understands anything there so you're pretty much a bot playing amongst bots. The game is pretty competetive, especially for those that find themselves good at it, so you really haven't noticed the community the game has. I think to really review this game you need to spend atleast 50 to 100 hours in it. It's a nice game, pretty great for boots on the ground COD/BF/whatever you say it is just like -f2p fps. But these reviews man (on warface atleast).... don't like em. Nice video though, keep up the content but you might want to consider asking veterans in the game about their honest opinions. Actual veterans, because they spend the time and effort in the game and there are plenty of vets that think the game is thrash but they play it anyways. thats just some general advice for you. kek bye

Kandy I love what you wrote, I actually have 300+ hours in the game and your points is right on, And there is a Competive scene in warface just not a lot of people knows about cause, there is normaly no prize money, but just in game rewards for the tournaments. I love the game as I hate it, The servers are laggy. And yes when you haven't play on higher levels you don't have the actual vision of the games. The rookies servers are there for beginners to be with beginners so they don't feel outmatch but Its a totally different thing in the "pro servers" they call.

There are also the Arsenal or Vendor system where you unlock weapons by earning points. You'd be assigned a random weapon and two armor pieces that you can pick between to choose to start unlocking now or later. You need VP (Vendor Points) to unlock them which you earn by playing the game. So you don't have to buy shop weapons (they're not that good anyways)

Having played the game a few hundred hours its "meh" *here is a list of the negative points* I encountered since I started years ago The permanent weapons cost a lot to maintain and so does you gear making most matches ending with you loosing 50% of the gains I use mid tier armor and weapon and am penalised to use what I like, those gear/guns aren't even that much better than the stock ones but screw that "400$ to repair sidegrades to stock gear out of your 500$ match" and ofc, if you use it or not you still gonna pay a hefty toll because degradation isn't based on how much hits you take or rounds you fire, no, its about the seconds you spend in a game In order to get weapon permanently you need around 12 000 to 95 000 WF$ (for instance the FAMAS) Some weapons got their permanent purchase option revoked to become rent only Other are locked inside the dreaded loot boxes (such as the PKM and MG3, or the *option to even buy it permanently* is droping from it) The mission gain and even first day bonus got cut by 50% since its debut Coop is nothing but a shooting gallery with enemy getting insultingly high damage buff (in the 300% range), leading to shotgun OS you from 70m away but you don't with the exact same weapon, instead of lets say give them some damage bonus but make special enemy spawn more often or increase base enemy count? Nah lets just make them kill anyone in 4 hits and shoot behind foliage no one else can see through Some bosses are plain disgusting : the Mecha doing non stop rocket spam wich take away 1/3 of your health per near hit in harder difficulties In other mods (Spec ops for instance) the only thing that matters is having quick reload and large magazines making only LMG rifleman viable The boringly long rotation of PVE missions being only once every 24h The unbalanced PVP putting lvl 10 with lvl 80, the fact there is no skill based balance, 7 lvl 80 can be on one side and only beginner on the other This is why I stoped playing about a year ago, it might have changed since but every time I went back they just made it more grindy only They also allowed a random russian guy to hack in my account despite me living in France, like the IP adress is totaly NOT supsicious to be 3h25 flight time away, not like steam created a system that allowed only new PC to acces your account if it had a verification code years ago, oh wait they did, even game such as war thunder block IP from suspiciously long distance to connect to your account without 2 step authentification

Warface is a good game. To have permanent item, weapon, it is not with money but you have to unlock them with a kind of xp win in playing. With skills and team works, you can do a good game without put a coin in the system. And if pvp is too difficult, go on coop. And it seems legit to me to not be as strong as the guy who have spent much more time and money in the game than me. P.S : planetside2 is good also. As totalwar arena. And all of these three games are f2p.

One thing the game does well is split players into two tiers. Once you get past a certain xp it only allows you to play with players of the same xp or higher

For me its not really a p2win because you can spend more time to unlock powerful weapons.. include the events that gives x3 of in-game money boosters + discount for gacha/lottery in shop. I got like 3 perma solid weapons just from spamming special operations in coop because you gain a lot of money there (coop fan) . compared to other fps like warrock.. that game doesn't have perma weaps only durational items and you're paying for like monthly fees for the weapon. But this game is friendly user and other cash items doesn't bother me. Other things you have to buy in real money is to support the game going on but still we have different opinion playing this game. It depends on you guys if you will enjoy it or not? play for fun ? or play for cash items ?

I played it a little while back and I just downloaded it and looked at it again because they had some major updateand it is a surprising game I mean I did not expect to have as much fun I played it for like 3 hours with the in-game credits that I earned from my previous play and from last night I was able to buy a complete set of the warlord armor for my medic and a new shotgun. All permanent.and the warlord's that has like three bonuses on each piece and coincidentally I found out after that the boots and the gloves are shared by all character classes so all I have to buy on the other characters if I want that warlord set is two piecesI was amazed and you're right the gameplay is incredible 2 shooting as incredible as as shooters go it's one of the best I've ever played.the one problem I see with it all by the way I like The simple Man use it doesn't need to be in order to help based first person shooter The hub doesn't have to be you know some fancy world where you walk around and go from Bender to bender and this and that I like it simple and a lot of people do.but anyway the one thing the one problem I see with it is there doesn't seem to be any skill based matchmaking it's all just based I'm not sure what it's based on because you're my first couple of matches I redid the original la practice maps and and there were some pretty high-level skilled guys in there just cranking out wins to get more credits I think.as I progressed into the more difficult missions I realize some of the people in there were simply idiots who didn't have a clue what they were doing in shooter.also you guys got that one guy who thinks he's a superhero and he's going to run and kill everything in this game is brutal to those types of players you will not survive.also people don't wait for the medic I was playing a medic you have a symbol that says you're a medicI mean it's obvious your team as a medic when you start the match and yet people won't stand still and let you heal them they make you chase him around put you in more danger and coincidentally I finished at least four or five matches solobecause everybody died too many times expended all their coins and opted out instead of waiting to be revived. So I carried the team at least five or six times where they all just responding to the plane in like retards start shooting at everybody and throwing grenades and being assholes so you can't play soloand if you don't have a team ready to go with you you're stuck with idiots sometimes. That's not to say that I didn't get some good teamsbut frequently in boiled down to just me or me and one other person finishing each match but it was still a boat loads of fun

Lot of ppl have actually mentioned this before, I just can't help myself not to say that again. WF sadly is pay to win, it s not about the stats of the premium guns, it s about the reality how they behave. Just try to pick one up after you kill someone who paid, it usually has like zero recoil, that is the major difference. May not sounds like much, but boi...you wouldnt believe. There are other things to consider aswell, the skinier textures of premium characters. Also you cant even know the game from before lvl13. It s way way different after that lvl threshold... I like the video tho 8)

Yeah, honestly this is in fact one of my favorite 2 or three modern-era or "super-near-future" fps games that i play! I mean, it looks really generic - but i love the coop spec-operation missions and so forth while then also giving you some of the best all around gameplay for pvp multiplayer to boot. It has alsoo improved steadily over the past few years and with updates and new spec-op's missions coming out every so often are why to this day a bunch of people, like me, are still playing it over alot of other more recent AAA modern-era shooters. That and the fact that it's a F2P game that manages to NOT be pay-to-win! Then you got an arsenal that's staggering in size! There are a slew of guns, especially AR's which are the guns i stick to in all shooters, (like alot of people), and what makes this list of weapons to pick from is the fact that almost all of them can be really effective depending on whether you use the weapon the way it was intended to be and how well said weapon meshes with your own particular play style. Just a fun all around game! I do disagree with ya bout Crytek games though. Set aside the fact that as a company they are pretty despicable in the treat their employees, i think they have made some pretty great game. Firstly, there's Farcry 1 an 2, which were phenomenal games and then when it comes to Crysis - now looking back at how it's remembered currently, it's easily most underrated franchises of all time imo! I'd prolly put Tribes, (especially when it comes to Trbes: Ascend), and maybe Warframe ahead of it. Both in terms of how good the games are/were and with regards to how greatly unappreciated they are currently, even though Warframe is finally starting to become pretty fuckin huge over the past two years or so. The first Crysis game was a blast and the second had a lot of good things too, tho it's graphics weren't near as revolutionary as the first was for the time plus it had a lot of bugs and some major problems when it came to it's mp. But, Crysis three fixed most of the errors that the second had cuz it was both a gorgeous game that didn't have near the bugs, plus had an fuckin badass mp! Though the storylines in all three weren't terribly awe-inspiring or all that interesting, about average for a shooter i guess, but the gameplay with cool mp modes like the Hunter mode and the introduction of the bow and shit - made it a phenomenal game imo! My qualms with the game come down to the lack of weapons to choose from with what, 4 or five AR's... that's fuckin lame. None of the guns were awful though, and were fun to use. And then there's the lack of character customization with regards to the aesthetics. I love choice, the more the better - so it def was disappointing. But hey, it was like this was any different than the first two games, (also Warhead for that matter), so i wasn't really expecting anything more on those fronts than what we ended up getting.

@@winsslloww The Sig mpx, uzkon, kraken, ak-12 are some of the most powerful guns in WF. And guess what, they're locked behind a paywall. I mean don't get me wrong there are a lot of of great banger free to play weapons like the Ar-15 and SAP6. But they aren't as good as the ones mentioned above. Because WF was designed that way, they create an absurdly powerful gun, everybody buys it, and after a while, they nerf it. That's what happened to the Kriss Custom. The stats on the guns you buy are better than the free vendor weapons. Warface is pay to win, and it shows.

@@VEV-cu6no while those guns are strong and so are some others you didn't list, once you play against those guns for long enough you start to know and figure out ways to avoid getting killed by them and instead killing the person using them. 2 months ago I finally bought a few guns but even before I did I was usually doing great even against paid guns, the main problems you'll find rather than paid guns are the teams of 2-3 players who are in vc with each other and are using paid guns or not, dealing with 2-3 people in a vc telling each other where enemies are/if someone is low and all charging at a single point while covering each other almost flawlessly is much more irritating and frustrating than dealing with someone using paid guns by themself, especially since you'll be on a team of randoms without a vc unless you have friends who play also
