True, A lot of folks downplay the role of professionals until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple of summers back after my lengthy financial setback, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of due diligence who helped a lot to grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation to over half a million dollars.

My dad once said find a hobby you like and can make money too. Mine was in radio control aircraft. Got to test models worth hundreds, access to the latest equipment and not only got paid for it. I also was able to get hold of a lot discontinued items and sold them on eBay.

The blockchain technology is super useful, but not really for making money the way people think they will now. Reputable companies may start producing websites using the technology and it’s just a newer form of open source where the community can contribute and has some ownership

I drive a 2004 Grand Prix in average shape for a car with 240k miles, I wear t shirts and jeans, all purchased at Walmart. I live in a 1200 square foot home and I wear work boots everyday. But my income is $130k+. I'm not saying I'm rich or anything but I see so many people who earn half as much as me with the huge house, new BMW/Mercedes, Prada and Gucci. None of that matters unless you're trying to impress people who you probably aren't even friends with and who you don't even like. But of course, everyone has their own ideas on how to live their own lives so more power to them.

Buy stocks, real estate, Bitcoin (not shitcoins), and etc. Any kind of asset that you have a specialty of knowledge in, but the sad part is that the average individual is not educated in this realm so they get stuck in the system.
