Hi please help i Just given birth 2 days ago..am not producing any milk only a few drops of the colostrum my baby was extremly hungry..can i give her enformil new born baby formula

@@sarahlee8613 Thanks for asking. Enfamil newborn formula is safe for your baby. However, it is normal to only have colostrum for the first few days. Colostrum is high is sugar, fat, and protein so your newborn is getting all the nutrition they need. However, your baby won't feel full and will want to breastfeed all the time. When you allow the baby to do this, it helps you bring in a full milk supply. I would encourage you to keep breastfeeding but if you need to feed formula, don't feel bad. Feed your baby formula. Thanks for your advice i have been trying for the past 3 days but nothing coming out and baby not laching on properly its really depressing so am giving her formula am really scared am not doing the right thing but my milk supply is Just not there i have been pumping for hours and still theres nothing
