Great video as always! It wasn't high capacity so maybe CP finally wanted to get rid of it after all these years. I have to be at work at 5:30 AM EST so that's the reason for my weird watch time as I've previously stated lol.

Worlds Of Fun Should Get It. It would be a cheap addition for the park as it is easier to market and would provide a large ROI than CGA. If cedar fair wants to grow CGA they can not relocate a low capacity ride. I see CGA getting a custom designed Mack Launch Coaster rather than Wicked Twister as discovery kingdom is not that far away so it would be hard to market and the GP would see the rides as the same even though we know they are different. Worlds Of Fun Could Market It As The Fastest Coaster In The Area As Wicked Twister is 2mph Faster than Mr Freeze at St Louis. This Marketing Would Drive Worlds Of Fun’s Attendance and help compete with Adventureland in IOWA as cedar fair needs to start upgrading Worlds Of Fun for it to remain relevant in the area.

Big yikes that Dragster just had to have the accident right after the announcement for the removal of WT was made. With both of them not operating for the rest of 2021 and probably not for opening in 2022, CP only has Maverick in the launch category. Of all coasters, wicked twister and TTD being closed at the same time is terrible, because they have lots of ‘GP magnets’. They’re both 200ft+, both have a launch, both has a 90° drop, both are intamins and WT is an invert. I’m sure if the accident had occurred before the announcement, they wouldn’t have closed WT yet. I can’t see TTD staying at CP for much longer either and i think if the accident happened before they announced the removal, then TTD would have been removed very soon like 2023 maybe and they would have kept WT. TTD is probably going to be the next coaster removal, it’s getting quite old and is unreliable, unless they overhaul it, and removing two gp magnets in a row is very very bad.

TTD is definitely going to be reopening in 2021, and i’d bet money for opening day. not that the incident wasn’t severe, but there is absolutely no chance it’s down for the entire next season.

Wicked twister is NOT a gp magnet; it’s a no-one magnet which is why it’s getting removed.

@@johanll6321 yes, but it has features of a GP magnet. The park could advertise having 6 coasters over 200ft tall, or 2 inverts, or 3 launch coasters, 5 coasters with a 90° or more drop

I really don’t think cga will get wicked twister. Did everyone forget about discovery kingdom 45 minutes away with another impulse? I get it that flash is a lot different than the other impulses with its 45° spike but they are still the same type of ride which wouldn’t really attract a lot of media attention as it already exists in that area. Wicked twister wouldn’t fit at any of the larger cedar fair parks for many reasons like location, capacity, and similar rides which then leaves Michigan’s adventure and worlds of fun Michigans adventure doesn’t receive a lot of investment from cf and need something new but the people there are still attracted to SFGAM and CP I do certainly predict it will go to worlds of fun as they really do need a ride like that and would fit perfectly there
