There is a reason Deontay's big shots all missed Ted. It is called boxing. Wilder has had a great career for a man who can't box, but his management made a terrible error when they decided to add the scalp of the long inactive Fury to Deontay's CV to strengthen their hand in the AJ unification talks. Those Fury fights, and now this Parker one, confirm for me that Deontay may have been better off taking that 100m for the two fight AJ deal. Sure, he may have taken the 40% side but that 40% would dwarf what he got for getting pounded by Fury then outfoxed by Parker. Retirement calls.

The 2 fight AJ deal would've been derailed by an obese man KOing Joshua. AJ's head doesn't move and is far too big for Wilder to have missed that badly. Wilder 100% beats AJ a few years ago.

Wilder has been shown to be the biggest manufactured Heavyweight of all time. He's only fought two legitimate top ten fighters in his career. He lost every fight (even the draw) and lost almost every round in those four fights. As soon as Wilder got put on the back foot in Rd 11 in Fury's first fight, the blueprint was there for all to see.

@MrDoolan72

@@randymarsh2901I think it's bang on about Wilder. His best opponent other than the two I mentioned was King Kong Ortiz. A geriatric who got dropped more times in one fight by Charles Martin than he did with his fights against Wilder. Wilders power was a myth. A fairytale. Every fighter he'd faced had been dropped before and most were coming off long lay offs. He only fought Fury because he'd lost 9 stone and hadn't fought for 18 months. Eric Molina and Ortiz both ate Wilders right hand. Took it flush many times before dropping. And they only dropped when tired. AJ has the best resume in the HW division (fact). So I don't think we can call AJ a fraud. It's not the same thing. His resume is littered with top ten opponents. Wilder has two. Of which he never beat.. Fury is also a bit overrated. The Trilogy and Fury's mouth made them both look better than they were...Fury talks a great game but hes very selective about his opponents. He played tap with Klitschko and nicked a victory. Got done for PEDs and didn't go through with the rematch. Because Vlad would have changed his game plan for the second fight. AJ knocked out a very well trained Klitschko. AJ knocked out Wallin and Fury went the distance and could have got stopped for the cut. Fury picked Dillian Whyte only after he'd twice been dropped with uppercuts and his punch resistance had gone. Whyte was chasing Fury for ages before then. AJ wanted Wilder for years. Wilder turned down stupid money to avoid AJ from Dazn. Wilder is a manufactured myth. Not the first HW to be so, but certainly the biggest hype job I've ever seen. And I've been watching since the 70's.

Wilder vs Fury was a clash of bum slayers, men who have continually ducked the top ten, like never done before. His toughest fight was against another blown up cruiserweight in Cunningham, he said it himself. Wilder and Fury's resume put together, cannot compare with A.J.'s resume. Who revived the HW division ? Anthony Joshua. Where was Fury and Wilder at ? They were fighting bums, cab drivers, janitors earning peanuts. He pounced on Wlad, who had issues with his woman, had lost his Trainer Emanuel Steward, Wlad wasn't mentally there, besides that, he cheated, he juiced !. Who ducked the rematch ? TYSON FURY , using mental issues as excuse. A.J. as an amateur , ABA champ whooped a pro and experienced Fury, to the extent, he couldn't keep his mouth shut about the ass whooping. The lie you told, Fury often fights down to his opponents ability when he sees no risk such as Francis fight, exposes you as being dishonest, a lie from the pits of Hell ! Fury has always been an average , overrated boxer. Now, he's being exposed. I'd be surprised, if he shows up for the Usyk fight and fight Chisora for the fourth time. It was a huge upset because Wilder is one of the biggest names in boxing, people love Knockouts and he's one of the greatest heavyweight knockout punchers of all time , and Joseph Parker has been a consistent top 10 contender, who most people look at as a second-tier guy who is good enough to get to fight the best heavyweights in the division, butt who can't beat the guys at the top. Wilders story is one that has been told manytime before in the heavyweight division. If you know the history of boxing and we're paying attention to the details you described @ sdot Kix, you could see this coming or at least the potential for this coming

If you examine Wilder's record, you can see he's been carefully matched, up until Fury that is. Wilder is worse now. He is slow to pull the trigger on his right hand, and his footwork is painful to watch. Kudos to Malik Scott.

I dont care what anybody says, wilder didnt have the amger in him to fight back.. It wasnt that he was simply outboxed. Anybody that is getting bullied fights back.. He was getting bullied in the ring and just fought on the back foot in defensive mode.. He threw nothing out of aggression...nothing! Even a milk man would have fought back! He gave up the centre of the ring and and allowed parker to get close! He never uswd to give up the cemtre of the ring. Its as though he liked larker too much to want to hurt him! Parker was 40Ib heavier more skilled, and couldnt knock out a guy that was 213Ib hadnt fought more than 1 round in two years.. If wilder has alwas been a fraud then why didnt parker put him away? Wilder had no marks on him at all at the end! Nothing to show he was in a fight!

Wilder used to be the Boogie man. His fights were entertaining and violent. I always hoped he would get better fundamentally but he didn’t . I always rooted for him simply because he was an American heavyweight champ and it was nice to have hope with that right hand to bring all the belts to the USA someday. I think he genuinely wanted the toughest challenges he could find. He definitely has heart. AJ on the other hand has all the fundamentals and I feel it was his heart that was always in question. All that being said , I knew Wilder wasn’t going to do well in this fight. Joseph Parker is a world class boxer and a cerebral fighter with great coaches . I personally found it sad to see Wilder loose by such a wide margin but he needed that.

Wilder was always overhyped and totally protected from anyone could could fight back. He was never the world champion. NOt only did he caefully avoid Wladimir KLitschko he never even mentioned his name. He avoided Joshua like the plague and only picked Fury because he was 100% convinced he was utterly washed-up and shot. He lost to every half decent fighter he faced. HE een needed the doctor to halt his first fight with 90 year old ORtiz for about 5 minutes to save poor BEoncey from being KOed or stopped on his feet

AJ has “no heart” and is “chinny” have got to be some of the laziest, bias, false narratives in boxing. Dude is willing to fight and rematch anyone and has never been KO’d. He even took Klitschko’s best shot and got up off the canvas to win.
@whokilledjr3719
@whokilledjr3719 5 ай бұрын
@@babyting395boxing fans say that for a reason and there is some truth. Take how wilder in his 2nd fight with fury was getting ugly bashed and complained about getting pulled early. In his third fight he similarly got smoked, but he went out on his shield. Many legendary boxers, Ali, Frazier, Ryle, shavers, foreman went through tooth and nail wars and Joshua simply doesn’t have that kind of dog in him. Contrast that with His first fight against usyk where he backed off instead of fighting bigger. He also went down multiple times to Ruiz who isn’t a power puncher. Another way of saying it is he simply isn’t perfect and has his deficiencies, something that hardcore Joshua fans won’t admit. That’s not to say he isn’t a fantastic boxer, which he obviously is and boxing certainly is better off for having him. His criticism is a fact of fans comparing his stature to the greats and people are going to point out where he falls short by comparison.

@@whokilledjr3719 Klitschko is one of the hardest punchers of the past 20 years. AJ clearly rose to the challenge after getting dropped. It also took 5 rounds for Ruiz to finish AJ after he hurt him. Meanwhile Wilder out here getting dropped by “pillow fisted” Fury (Wilders own words). Wilder is probably the most protected champion of our generation, there’s clearly a reason why. AJ isn’t perfect and is probably the 3rd best heavyweight right now, but to say he’s “chinny” or has “no heart” is just straight up disingenuous.
@whokilledjr3719
@whokilledjr3719 5 ай бұрын
@@babyting395 it’s disingenuous to think those efforts could compare to the kind of dog showed by past legends and fights. Against Ruiz he was still quite lucid and gave up. Did you see his expression when he lost to usyk 1??? He received one knockdown by Klitschko and recovered well, but to compare that to the kind of heart shown by past legends, are you really being serious? Have you seen the thriller in Manila where Frazier was spitting out blood consecutively for the last few rounds? Even wilder all bloodied up but giving it his all in the fury 2 fight when it was obvious he was well and truly getting bashed? Come on now, that’s delusional talk coming from someone who isn’t really a fan of boxing.

Wilder will always be dangerous, but he never learned much about boxing. He knocked out all the hand picked tomato cans early in his career and that is how he got all those knockouts. They had no clue how to avoid the Wilder right. I noticed one thing early in his career, and that is how he would back up all the way to the ropes when an opponent even feinted a punch.
