Here's three things I found out about Willow's super: - If she controls a seperated R-T, the legs stay on the opposite team which means the legs will damage Willow and R-T and probably the other people on Willow's team - Jessie will heal her turret with the Energize star power when controlled - Jessie will get damaged if a shot made when she was controlled bounces back and damages her when she's not controlled anymore

Yeah it is called "artillery" now, but everyone knows what I mean with "thrower". Artillery sounds stupid in my opinion. Also, sprout was also classified as a supporter a long time, but everyone called him a thrower anyways. Same thing for Willow now, I guess.

I think the strongest part about Willow is probably her main attack, it's pretty easy to hit and deals a good amount of damage when it does. The only downside is that it's over time but that can work in your favor as well. Her super is interesting, and while it's definitely useful it can be a bit gimmicky at times, due to her having no trouble hitting her shots she does charge it up quite frequently so that does help. But it just seems quite situational. That's just what I think though, I could be wrong and her super could end up being very strong.

Her damage is good, but her arent easy to hit. She doesn't have the best range as Kairos points out and I have experienced as well. Once people know how to play against her her super is going to be charging up really slowly as her shots are slower the further you aim it. But one upside is her poison damage. You can hit a brawler in a bush and it's works like the vision gear. Its one of the reasons I like crow on bushy maos

nah, her main attack is basically insane. It prevents the opponent from healing for 2 extra seconds which is great. Also you can destroy 80% of all brawlers if you land 2 or 3 shots. If you are good with willow you can basically do that easily

Something very interesting happened when trying to complete Willow’s unlock quest,is that if a enemy Willow used their super on another Willow while it’s controlling another brawler,causes them to unable to control that brawler.

Willow has a glitch where after controlling an enemy brawler, she can see into them in a bush. Byron is also unable to kill the controlled brawler because he heals them instead.

Her attack feels surprisingly strong, so she doesn't feel as reliant on her super as I expected. Def worth getting imo. Also, this doesn't really matter, but her attack animations and overall visual design is top 5 in the game for me, she literally summons an entire pond with her main attack. Edit: I almost forgot about this, but running people into the showdown smoke is super satisfying

Every single good bs player said that she was going to be weak af, and even with those buffs she IS. She just shines in brawlball cause you can do some nice things but it's super situational since she dies in 2 or 3 shots from most brawlers... and I'm not even talking about all her bugs, nah she definitely some more adjustments

Imo she might be on a weaker side on very open wide maps, but otherwise she is above average in every mode.

You need to be willing to use gadgets more often, there were several games where no gadgets were used and I think that her gadget is quite strong, even if she only uses it as a “get off me” tool

See thats the problem with her super, since it has such short range, most of the time you will be left so close to the rest of the enemies that they could just kill you instead of fighting the controlled ally, if it was long range you could wreck havoc on the enemie lines without having to risk yourself

I think there has to be some sorta indicator on when her super timer runs out. Maybe make the controlled enemy lose hp slowly like a timer would work really well. If that sounds OP, make the enemy heal back up immediately after the mind controlling wears off

I think willow super should be similar to genes because if she hits someone, she is pretty much guaranteed to be out in the open. Having a super like gene will give her protection from long range brawlers cuz she’s behind a wall, I don’t think that her width needs a buff but her range might just need an extra tile

I believe it could be a good play to pull the brawler you are controlling with Willow into "your side" of the map and let your teammates kill the brawler in modes like bounty, kinda like Gene's super, instead of hopelessly following the enemy brawlers and waste ammo. That's just kinda re-positioning the enemy brawler on his side again.

Jokes on you Kairos, I maxed out as f2p (Star power, gadject, 2 gears and all power11), I have hit 50k trophies, and pushed 2 r30 brawlers, rest r25 except willow. I have played the game since 2019, January and it's been a wholesome journey. I discovered Brawl Stars media like a year ago and seeing the game develope, and get better every singel update is amazing. I have had my moments, luck, successes and losses I love the state of the game and watching old videos give me memories. I'm happy I had the chance to be part of this and your content is awesome, I hope you continue making videos and the game keeps getting banger updates. There have been a lot of server issues like what you saw this last week or so. It seems like it was after one of the more recent updates. I've seem some really weird issues where everyone lags and turns into bots and then eventually you might be able to get back into the match. Hopefully they put out a patch for stability soon.

I really don't like that she leaves a puddle on the ground but it doesn't deal damage. No other thrower is like that, and the one that does leave a puddle (Barley, of course) causes damage when the puddle is stepped on. It should either just make a splash when it lands and not leave a puddle, or the puddle should apply the DOT, or maybe a mini version of the DOT. Also, why does Edgar only punch once when Willow is controlling him...lol

Willow is basically a combination of Barley and Byron. Her playstyle is similar to Barley with the same attack range, width, projectile speed, and reload speed with Byron's poison trait. The key difference is she deals much more consistent damage than both of them, which makes her better in most situations. She also has an ability to deal with aggressive threats, similar to Barley and Byron. And her Super is an interesting way for her to deal with enemy brawlers as well as whoever she's trying to remove.

I found auto aiming her super when enemies are closer than hlaf of her super distance is almost always a guarantee control. Its a really fast projectile so it works out.

I think she needs a 1 tile range increase. One more additional thing would be allowing for her attack to stay on the ground for 0.5 second or 1.0 second longer while being able to curse (the dot damage) any opponent for that small amount of time after the attack has landed by stepping onto it if they haven't been curse by that specific projectile already.

Here’s a phew things about willow when I unlocked her: -first, her main attack throws the tadpole very slowly. People with great prediction can easily hit the enemies -second, you need to be quick when she is controlling -Third, Her super range is thin and also a bit short so aim it carefully -fourth, when she controls the enemy she have to be in a bush or a safe place In my opinion, Willow is very good with her normal attacks and super if you know what the next enemy will move and also you need to be fast with her super and her normal attack. The poison damage is pretty annoying. Willow is also good with the help of turrets. Like 8-bit, Bo, Stu, And Pam. Also, be aware with your surroundings while controlling an enemy. Who knows someone can kill you

Willow is surprisingly good in solos and duos but she is quite difficult to use at times. If you can strategize and think on your feet well, Willow is great for you. You have to be quite creative in order to get her out of sticky situations. The gist? Just practice and use he right and you are basically sey

It's a shame you can't use the controlled bralwer's super. Imagine the trolling you could achieve by getting the enemy Sam to your side & throwing his knuckles on a puddle. Wouldn't be permanent, but would definitely raise some brows in fury hhhhhh. She's not as bad as before but one thing I've witnessed too is that the span is kinda short to control them so maybe that's why wasting ammo is about all you can do. Also, her shots take quite some time to land with not as much width as Barley's puddle so that's something they should maybe work on; either increase the size or the projectile speed. Another tricky thing with her is if she uses her super, they are insta healed to full hp. That should not be the case imo, I wonder if it's a bug. Or at least like give them the full hp only until they are under her spell & revert back to their original hp after it ends, kinda like Meg. But yeah, she's actually kinda fun to play. Duo SD is good too for SD lovers.

Willows super is very situational, hard to hit, and difficult to get value with bcuz of its short range and in most scenarios putting yourself in danger just to hit an enemy. And in 1v1 scenarios on team modes, her super is basically worthless unless it’s knockout. Her main attack projectile travels very slowly while also having low but guaranteed dps. If you don’t hit enemies with her attack as soon as it lands, despite the attack looking like it lingers like Barley’s, enemies can just walk over it if they don’t get hit by it.

I think Willow is strong, REALLY strong around short range brawlers. The main thing that I would work on her is her projectile speed, at close range it's really easy to hit and do max damage (just autoaim) and at max range it can be really difficult to hit if your opponent knows her range. I would make her projectile speed fixed (like Dynamike), where at close range it's a little slower and at max range it would be a little faster. This way she wouldn't be such a huge counter to medium/short range brawlers and you would actually need to aim her shots at all times. Her super is fine as it is to be honest. Maybe give it a little extra range.

even after her buffs it seems the consensus is that she's still mid at best. as someone with her mastery title, she's underrated. the pros dislike her because so much of pro gameplay relies on not feeding opponents supers but if you're good with a patient playstyle she's a very solid option particularly in most brawl ball maps. with super she can score in every 1v1 situation (except cordelius) and she can score in a lot of 1v2 situations as well. she's also very solid on duo showdown (she's fine for solo but better for duo) there were plenty of times during my mastery push where willow's super allowed me to escape what seemed like the most impossible pinches i suppose the argument could be made for willow in specific heist power league matchups to counter high dps but generally i'd recommend brawl ball and duo showdown TLDR: if you like willow, play her on brawl ball or duo showdown for best success rates

I still think willow needs something while she is controlling someone, I think if she were to dive like her second gadget while she is controlling would be better, because you can’t get hit while controlling but still can get punished because brawlers can camp on you, I think this is better because of how close you have to get to someone to control them so you don’t immediately die from someone else very close

Brawlympics idea: who can out run the tic head? They can only use 1 super, 1 gadget use and can have a star power. The “points” are tallied for how long they can survive not being hit by the tick head

I thought about a rework for her I think When she uses her super she should be literally that brawler and by that I mean she is not on the map and is just controlling the brawler. having a timer on her super is really stupid the Brawler she is controlling should gain a shield, when that shield breaks she would spawn on the Brawler she was controlling (the shield would be strong and wouldn't decay). Also the shield would just negate the fact that she heals the Brawler to full health so that you can actually try to kill that Brawler after you've already damaged that brawler before.

I don't know if it is glitch or feature but you can break teammates out of mind control by hitting them with your super. Also i don't know if anyone feels like it but i think that her main attack should stay on the ground for like 0.5 or 1 second.

I think Willow is in a very similar situation to that of Otis upon release. A supposedly overpower super that made them preemptively nerf the brawler on for the brawler to be very crippled when released.

The only game mode Willow feels like she has potential in is Brawl Ball. Her range puts her at quite the disadvantage against other throwers, but I don't think this needs a buff, she should have her differences compared to Barley. Rather, I'd give her invulnerability or a shield during her super, like diving into the ground through a swamp puddle, because she is such an easy target while controlling another brawler. Like Nani can be an easy target while using her super, but at least Nani can receive an 80% damage reduction and can hit a brawler on the other side of the map.

I think willow is found to be very good in kill modes because she can basically force someone into you’re teammates for a free 1v3 so a free kill and also very good in duels because she can force people into gas

Her super is annoying to use as she is a thrower but doesn’t have a throwable super, so I think they should just make it go over walls, increase the size of the projectile (As it’s very small) and maybe even increase the range

I feel like Willow's super projectile size needs to be bigger, somewhat similar to penny. I think the super length is good enough but perhaps it's also good to make it be able to go through wall but I'm not sure if that's too OP

Here's a fun interaction: If you Willow super on a Byron, and auto aim Byron's attack, it will target and heal you. That interaction just saved my life in a showdown game.

I think willow is worth unlocking and maybe upgrading because as soon as she was released everyone had her maxed out and was playing her which was really annoying and she can be quite hard and easy the play against
