I do something similar (and also use RD Drums), except I've taken it a step further. I have ReMidi 2 loaded up on one midi track, and that allows you to map midi clips to midi notes, and it has something like 128 slots you can map. So you figure out which loops you like, map them in remidi, save a template, and use a midi keyboard or controller (I have an 8x8 pad controller), so you can "play" the midi clips. Then route the remidi track to your drum VST. That way, you don't have to audition and drag and drop midi clips, I can just hit the pads\keys, figure out which loops and sequence I want to use, and record playing just the single notes on the remidi track. Way easier to get ideas down and rearrange without having to deal with moving full midi clips and digging through folders every time.

Oh man, that sound so useful! I do have a midi keyboard/pad/controller so I should try this out!

@@ryanisheartless one thing of note, if you're looking into the remidi plugin, is they released remidi 3 and stripped the amount of slots to just 16 or so, pretty limited, so I went back to remidi 2

This is sick! Do you have a partner code? And can you show us how it works with the wave files too?

Thanks man!! I don’t have a partner code unfortunately, they don’t have an affiliate program at this point. But their products are great honestly! And yes I can make another video soon using just the wav files instead!
