Guy says he effectively lives his day to day life without emotion - while clearly having strong emotional responses in almost every reaction he does ;) . As a fellow member of the high functioning autistic club, i can advise that the condition usually does not mean 'no'' emotional response. It is more accurate to call it 'divergent' emotional response.

Jennifer Lawrence was mystique in the new movies. In the original trilogy (X-men, X2 and X-men:the last stand) Mystique was played by Rebecca Romjin.

Jean's never really given the impression that she wants to be with Logan, though. Yeah, she's probably attracted to him, sure, but it's mainly just Logan all in HER face being flirty, and Jean kinda amused by it. She's made it blantantly clear that she's with Scott. Logan just keeps trying cross boundaries while antagonizing Scott in the process. With that said, I DO have a theory regarding Jean's attraction to Logan, but I'm gonna wait on that one due to spoilers...

Yeah but if there is just one microscopic hole of his adamantium skeleton which covers his actual skeleton, he could regenerate as his DNA would be exposed though I know this is most likely impossible since once hardened, adamantium can't be broken despite what Deadpool did in the recent movie.

Fun fact: Neanderthals had bigger brains on average than modern humans. What likely killed them off was their tendency to stick in one spot with very closely knit clans, rather than adopt the more gregarious approach of their cro-magnon cousins.

Loving seeing you run through these MrLBoyd. From the perspective of someone not familiar with the comic books, these movies would naturally seem confusing, and the 'X-Men' films in particular. A lot of mistakes were made in these movies. The original source material is quite convoluted, which gets exacerbated in the movies, as the stories are mashups of storyline elements, and different directors select different things to focus on. Basically, it's very messy. I love 90% of this movie, for example, but the last 10% is hamfisted garbage that doesn't fit. But in any case, happily, way down the road with the movies, they manage to clean up the mess in one movie, effectively pulling off an old comic book trick to do it. And it's beautiful. Cheers.

Did you have a fan on while recording? Not a major deal really. Just curious. ^_^ -edit- Ah, you mentioned AC. Gotcha. I always got AC or a fan going, even in winter. lol. Thank goodness I found how to add filters for recording to block it. Of course it messes with my sound quality a bit sometimes.

I think anyone has their favorite. Mine is Days of Future Past. Since you haven't seen it I won't say why but the soundtrack aside there were just elements of the X-Men cartoon I grew up with that tickled me among other things. This one was a good production. They took the good stuff about the first and turned the volume up which was a smart move. Add some of the latter films were problematic to say the least and this one get's viewed as great in retrospect as a result. And the guy that played Kurt is hilarious and raunchy af in real life as a tidbit. I've seen an interview with him and he is really something else. But clearly it resonates that everyone in the cast and crew was really feeling it when they made this and that is worth something to me.

I mean, at the time RX8s were a nice choice for street racers who modded them out. Now was it faster then other street racing cars? Well S2000 beats out a RX8. And in big races an RX8 beat a ACrora RSX-S and a BMW-3. Then again, many people who mod their cars don't always race them, some do it just for show. Thus many liked the RX8 at the time for simply modding. Of course movie series like the Fast and Furious helped boost the RX8, Civic and other "street racing" cars. I was at a street race once and seen someone take on a Hummer 2. Can't recall the car. Not sure why anyone would race a Hummer, I mean I always loved how they look, but I'd never buy one. Gas hogs, tanky...etc.

The next movie is a let down compared to what they did in the animated series/comics, which was a saga that lasted several episodes, and they kind of cramed in and contored into the third movie. They also did almost the same story in the fourth movie of the reboot which come after these movies.

Eh, I happened to catch some of that guy's content myself (although admittedly not much - just one video if I remember). From the impression I got, I would not advise taking anything he says very seriously. I caught a number of statements where he drastically misrepresents modern consensus academic opinion. For one example, he seems to make a point of highlighting that modern academics think of humans as 'modified chimps', and that such people think we 'evolved from [modern-style] apes'. This is completely untrue and misrepresentative. Modern consensus has focussed on branched common ancestors for decades. He is however not wrong when he talks about multiple different human species existing during the same periods, and various different species interbreeding. As far as I am aware this opinion is not controversial

Please ignore any negative comments about the 3rd film and Origins Wolverine. Both are great additions to the series. As a comic book collector and previous comic store owner, I'm familiar with how "picky" fans were because they wanted specific things to happen, based on the comics. Their hearts were turned against the films when they didn't get what they wanted.
