Hey, great video! I was wondering how you are auditioning these in realtime? I usually upload the cabs into my iridium then play for a bit before trying the next cab… it is very time consuming. This workflow is much better

All of the IR's in my Iridium are from York Audio. I used the TC Electronic Impulse Loader pedal to narrow it down to the nine I use.

Hey John - Just out of curiosity, why don't you just use the TC Impulse loader instead of the Iridium? Is it because you want the room/drive/EQ on the iridium and you just use the Impulse Loader to test out IRs?

Also, you can tweak each IR in the Impulse Manager...Treble, Bass and Volume can be adjusted in each IR.

I think it all boils down to the response to your playing style, pickups. Some IR's sound like crap with humbuckers but will sound great with Single coils.

I have the YA Bassman, Twin, and DR cabs on my Iridium Fender. As majority of my session work uses Fender models. they sound great. It’s nice to be able to carry around Fractal level modeling in a pedal :-)
