There’s a website called Funkomall, they sell fake pops from China, whenever they list something new is definitely a fake, and that specific pop is mot likely on eBay too. I got fooled by a fake Leonidas

You can also check the bottom of the feet of most pops, they should be stamped in a clear readable way, if they're not you're looking at a replica as well. Most Chinese replicas also have thinner cardboard boxes with a darker grey colour on the inside. Lastly paint differences like on the Planet Arlia you've shown, are a dead giveaway.

Vegeta fake’s colors are quite different when you see side by side-gloves different colors (gloves yellow on fake, orange on real), hair is redder on fake, the suit is darker on the real one.... Kinda shocking when you do get to compare.

Another little tip I have is look for price stickers on the bottom for like Hot Topic or Barnes & Noble. My Trafalgar Law I know is real and also has the original hot topic price sticker. Doesn't apply to all pops but it's a good indicator

Just like anything that's counterfeit. You shut one person down and two more pop up. Also being that most of them are brought in from overseas all they can do is confiscate them. There is nothing the justice system can do outside the United States. I have worked in a airport in the past and it's crazy how many different counterfeit items come through. They will also go as far as sending just the pops not in the boxes so there is no trademark infringement and then some scumbag here prints up the boxes and rips off collectors which a large portion of is sadly kids.

I actually bought a fake from a store, it was when I was very knowledgeable about pops. The fake pop which I like to call a fakeo is the Joker from the dark knight. I found out it was a fake when I seen that the tie is a different colour plus there isn't the funko logo on the top side of the box and not even on the bottom of the box. PLUS it doesn't show that it's form the Pop! movies line it just says pop!

An easy way to tell the fakes also is by looking at the font of the name and number on the side of the box. Usually the fakes have a skinny font compared to the bold on the real ones. I found this out the hard way when I bought a fake Sam Trick r Treat pop on mercari lol

Just a heads up - there is a new Fake Planet Arlia Vegeta pop out there that looks like they literally watched your video and fixed everything wrong with the box. funko pop mall sells it and based on the box alone it looks real. It still has the reddish tint to the skin though.

The way number is as you explained, the way the sticker is, if it has a title or not ie- Resident Evil, it would say Funko on the bottom of one of the feet on the pop, certain things would be on a real one vs fake, typos, if they reproduced the pop, a pop from a con can from ie New York have one sticker but could be different ie- my G.I. Joe Destro but i know it’s real,the pop, and the box and the sticker

The green hue on the ghostface box isn't really an indicator. I have a real ghostface and it has a green hue as do most made in the first runs (2014).

@@7BucksAPop i have to add on, the green hue is usually caused by age + wear and also sun damage. The real indicator are her eyes, they are a piercing blue not gray like the fakes. Also not sure if stated in your video but the first printings had ghost face as one word and printings after had the words separated.

Omg thank God. Literally everything else checked out on my ghost face aside from I felt there was a slight green hue which doesn't really show in pics but in the light it looked like it could maybe have it. I spent $90 last September on him and I was so new I didn't know fakes were a thing.

i bought two pops a sdcc 2013 tony stark and sdcc 2013 white ranger the 480 piece one how can i tell if they are fake i check the sticker, the number and words but since i dont have a fake one to compare it too it will be helpful to get your imput also both pops have the white sticker with the black latter & number the sticker is transparent see thru the sdcc sticker. help please?

Bought a Naruto Uzumaki Sage Mode on eBay a month ago "just started collecting" for 36 dollars. When I received the pop, I compared it to the picture on Funko Pop app and noticed the "Shonen Jump" was missing above Naruto Shippuden name in middle. Since that discovery been checking reseller current selling items prior to any additional purchases. The pop was not from a vendor in China and never will support the purchase of Fake pops. eBay really needs to step up and squash that shizz!

I've just been collecting the fake ones, some of the newer stuff is very very high quality. The new Game of Thrones stuff is perfect. The only original pops I have is the Breaking Bad stuff. There is also a company on Alibaba that has replacement boxes and they promise a 1 to 1 original quality. Same inks, fonts and card board stock as the original.

There's a guy on eBay sells sells blue and green chrome Batman and the blue chrome star wars and every one is a common one that has been painted but IV learned evidentally that's a common practice I guess they are pretty easy ,just get some paint and nobody will no the difference if they never take pop out of box

Joel Valdez Pops are made in both China and Vietnam. Many Pops have bad paint jobs so that’s not a great way to tell. The more you collect and handle Pops, the easier it will be for you to tell which Pops don’t look legit.

I noticed the plastic casing around the POP is also more visible on the fake pops. The real POP seems to have a more distinct cut mold of the plastic casing. Especially noticeable on the ghost face pop where the plastic insert is covering half of the face on the fake pop and almost none of the face on the real pop
