Is your anti tangle sleeve doing this when using an inline lead without you realising? Try this.

You don't need an anti tangle sleeve when using an adequate stiff hook length particularly a stiff fluorocarbon. A flexi swivel is a much better option when using an inline lead set up.
Don't we just love carp fishing when there are so many little changes that we can make. Fine tuning a rig can be so satisfying.

Almost exactly as I do when using flatbed feeders for tench. The ring swivel makes a huge difference. Great tip 😄

Are you using a soft fluro hooklink? I’m a massive fan of using inlines but mainly used with braid and wanna try fluro out

Not exclusively but yes I do use various fluro hooklinks. I generally use inline where I need better indication, ie: up against features at distances 40-70 yards. I have the swivel fitted quite loosely for that running style. Tight lines Steve
