Every day, Torontonians consume 1.5 million cups of coffee. Much of that delicious caffeine is served in a paper cup, proudly flaunting Canada's favorite coffee brands.
These brands, such as Tim Hortons or Starbucks, would prefer we didn't know their cups are being sent to landfills. But the truth is they are not being recycled. Convenience at the cost of the environment is becoming less, and less convenient.
