Thank u sir this was very informative. One of my tulsi plant looks like is suffering from chlorosis. leaves turning yellow or light green with dark green viens visible in it. Beginning of the month plants were not watered for one week. after coming backswatered plants well with seaweed solution and then misted with epson salt next day. after a week new growth was visible but all new leaves are showing syptoms of chlorosis. repeated seaweed solution after 10 days. added a lil bit (less than one handful/mutthi) of cowdung to increase nitrogen. but no luck so far.

Most of your plants have an iron deficiency. Iron deficiency can cause Chlorosis, which is condition when the leaves produce insufficient chlorophyll, as chlorophyll is responsible for the green color in leaves. The leaves will turn greenish yellow, yellow, yellowish white or I've seen it even completely white. Probably 95% of the chlorotic plants, or turf grass I've come across in Florida is an iron deficiency. But some diseases, soil compaction, poor drainage, and root issues like, root rot can also cause Chlorosis. Start with checking how wet your plant is, and what time of year. If its soaked in winter, that's your issue. In winter, you definitely don't have to water as much as summer. If it's not wet or the roots aren't compacted then I find chelated iron, some product with high iron like Ironite 12-0-0 which can be purchased at Lowes or Home Depot. If you didn't know what the numbers on every fertilizer from granular, to liquid like MiracleGro. To keep it short these are called N-P-K numbers. The first number, and they will ALWAYS be in this order, is Nitrogen(N) helps stimulate foliage growth. Second number, is Phosphorus(P) helps with the production, and development of flowers, and fruits. Third number, Potassium(K) also called potash, stimulates the growth of strong root system, look for higher potassium numbers in fertilizer in the fall and winter time when plants, and turf go dormant, or don't grow. Remember that diseases can cause Chlorosis too, in the fall to winter might want to try a systemic fungicides especially to your turf, if you love to water when it's cool to cold at night. Overwatering is extremely detrimental to all plants and turf grasses. I live in Florida, so anyone up North most will apply to you also. Goodluck, hope this helped...
