Measuring method of Ph is totally wrong. The solution made should be measured at 1% of alum water. By this method Ph shows is absolutely different and never match to actual Ph this will definitely harm the plant and soil also. Generally alum is a amphoteric in nature. So try to provide scientifically and not by wer and tere crude method which harm to plant instead of useful. So please provide perfect method which is lack in your video.

Well, its true that the pH measured will not be accurate by this method. But, the method let you find whether the soil is towards acidic or basic in nature and accordingly the treatment is provided. I have already mentioned that in the video. We are not performing a laboratory method. So, there is nothing wrong in doing that.

@@CITYGARDENING by this method effect on plant will be reversible. Instead of giving positive result by this method may effect negative. When we doing practical there must be some parameter by which we can change results from negative to positive. Being alum is a amphoteric in nature, we must be cousious in measuring Ph of soil and of alum respectively.
