We are far worse today than 08 because... 1) our problems now transcend zanu pf. Now more of a mindset/mentality, for corruption has become part of our culture and lifestyle. This can't be solved overnight although leadership renewal would be a step towards fixing that. 2) Imagine how terrible it would have been if there wasn't Ecocash and other cashless platforms. We are worse of when it comes to terrible fiscal policies and having a lot of Ponzi and looting schemes by the government. 3) Voter apathy. Most of the people who are interested in voting or fixing the country are in the diaspora yet the citizen in Zimbabwe is less motivated to vote. In addition, the opposition is weaker than it was during 2008. I stand to be corrected but that's how I see things.
