Now everyone can stop telling me my rears don't match my fronts! In this video I finally install the Ulterior Motives LS400 rear flares on my IS300. Got rid of the crusty old arches and added a little width to the rear. Subtle, not too agressive. Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks for sharing your work. Wanted to point out that many mention welding the 2 pieces of the quarter to keep water out. Big reason as well is for unibody strength. This is a key structural area. Just trying to be some help man.

How did you know which UM flare to buy? They have an LS and GS option but no option for the Is300?

You can check out monsterservice, KFD Tuning, and Ascura Garage. They all offer FRP bolt on flares. Sometimes I see some for sale on the Lexus IS300 owners facebook group.

Quick question I got a Front wings “Stage 1” +30mm Lexus IS300 fender and I don’t want to go with the rears that it comes with I’d rather go this route with the flares but I don’t know what size between the 1.5 or 2 any suggestions

I know the 1.5 will fit without modification to the rear door. Haven’t tried the 2 inch one but I’d say if you can buy both to see if the 2 inch will fit if you need more room in the back.

RoundHouseSlap in the vid I was running 18x9.5 around +22 with spacers and 235/40 tire. BC racing coilovers 16k/14k spring rates.

Terrible half assed craftsmanship. Bro you gotta weld the outter wheelhouse to to the quarter skin. It will absolutely get water inside. And you need to weld the flare completely to the quarter panel as well. It well crack out.

korosu chimu I just did this as a small project, figuring things out as I go. I wish I would’ve took the time to do it better but I’m happy with how it turned out. But thanks, I’ll keep what you said in mind 🤙🏼
