Jesus is Lord who took on mortal flesh for the sole purpose of being sacrificed for the atonement of sin. That was a once and for all event, and a once and for all mission. His second coming will be to rule and to judge; so He will come back as God the Lord of life who cannot die. And his coming will be in visible form but a form fitting His eternal glory.

Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin (Hebrews 9:22-28). Surely you know, The Old Testament is a foreshadow of the New Testament and the New Testament is the fulfillment of the Old. Why do you think they constantly offered animal sacrifices? When Jesus came, Jesus became the fulfillment as the ultimate sacrificial lamb for our sin, hence Passover! He paid the atonement for our sins and conquered death and arose with the keys to death hell and the grave. We will give an account to him. He is the door and he is the only way. No man comes to the Father but by the Son. Redemption is through the blood. We must be born again, baptized in Jesus name and baptized with the Holy Spirit.
