Love this story. And an excellent reading. Thank you. Perhaps some of Frederick Browns short short stories?.

Thanks! This is an excellent rendition and the illustrations are 💥💥💥. The great thing about this story is that everyone has their own visual ideas and I think these are so good.

One thing Isaac didn't think of when writing this is Black Holes and Quantum Gravity. We still don't know enough about Black Holes, much less Quantum Gravity. I know one recent Quantum loop gravity news item that says they've shown that a Black hole leads to a white hole. It goes from one universe to another.

Wait.. wha? there was visuals to go with the story? Goodie! I have an excuse to watch again! I was listening while doing something else. I love a good Creepypasta, but IMO nothing beats the classic short stories. Asimov has always been one of my favorites. Do you take requests for short stories? "Repent, Harlequin!" said the Tick-Tock Man by Harlon Ellison. Google it. 1965 Sci-Fi award winner. It's totally different then any sci-fi fantasy short story I've ever read.

Harlan Ellison (RIP 2018) is one of my all-time favorites. Repent may be a perfect candidate (fantastic story). I'll see what we can do! Our next two episodes will feature Frank Belknap Long, a member of the Lovecraft Circle.

Is there a universe?If there's a universe,it has no knowledge of a beginning and an end .

How so? Is this what you believe based on your definition of universe?

I didn't like the intro. Before 1927, when Georges Lemaître proposed a Big Bang hypothesis, even up til '64 when evidence via cosmic background radiation was finally discovered, an infinite "steady state" theory of the universe dominated physics. A "beginning" and an end was thought to be a superstitious relic of Genesis and oldtyme religion. When Asminov wrote this, steady state was still a well-respected theory. The intro makes it sound like The End always thought to be inevitable. It hasn't been, and wasn't during the writing of this story. And Big Bang theory is still just a theory, there's evidence but no iron-clad proof. The universe could still go forever ;D
