Only thing better than a well-written story, is a well-narrated version of a well-written story. And even better, an ominous and thoughtful tale. The combo of Cornett and Asimov was superb.

I have always enjoyed reading the classics . Ray Bradbury , Issac Asimov and Jules Vern . To name a few . But reading and listening to the stories are 2 extremely different types of comprehending the stories . Just as a movie would be completely different from the other 2. The narration brought more of the scenes differently than when I had read the story . CTFDN has some of the best narrators in this genre and Jesse is no exception and gave me a different view of the story and I really enjoyed it . Thank you very much and as always I am looking forward to hearing more from CTFDN .

I have not read the story recorded here before. I have to say, I loved listening to it, and the different effects, emotion, and general changes between voice sound as time went on added a good bit to the story. This and several other stories are why I keep coming back to Chilling Tales after kinda just kicking about looking for something horror-centric to listen to. The only complaint I have is that Jesse's "child" and "wife" voices comes off as a bit annoying, but not enough to ruin their scene or anything. Regardless, the entirety of the rest was just great and has a smooth, calm, and foreboding tone. I love it.

One thing Isaac didn't think of when writing this is Black Holes and Quantum Gravity. We still don't know enough about Black Holes, much less Quantum Gravity. I know one recent Quantum loop gravity news item that says they've shown that a Black hole leads to a white hole. It goes from one universe to another.

Speaking form a strictly scientific stand point, assuming if man kind made it to the time when all energy is consumed in the universe, we would have figured out a loop hole. While entropy could not be stopped in this time and space, at such and advanced stage it would be possible to create a hole either through space or time. In which case a species could enter a completely new universe, or travel back in time. In case of entering a new universe, you would find limitless potential. From a purely fan based stand point, I enjoyed the story.

Asimov clearly never heard of "white hole," practically the opposite of a "black hole." It's only a theory, shown mathematically, but not yet seen for sure. Just like black holes once were. There was a mysterious light back in 2006 that might have been a white hole, but might have been many things.
