Yes, he speaks so well. It's pretty amazing because it's generally not easy to find such a person. I was a big fan of him early. I read in the 80s forward. Wonderful!

Sadly everyone does not love learning. The internet should have brought knowledge and caring to the masses but in truth it seems to have done the opposite. Look at all the kids who were at home with computers during the pandemic whose grades and knowledge have drastically decreased. It's just sad.

I am learning Mandarin and life was pretty boring which is why I decided to do it. However, I need to get a language partner to really open up the horizon. That will be wonderful. I just need to get on the ball and do it.

Excessive trust in rationality? "Because there is nothing else to trust in". Because without rationality one cannot learn to further understand. So excessive trust in rationality translates to mean one is more wanting to evolve. A statement about mortality by Albert Einstein. "When you stop learning you start dying". The question now is, learning what? And what for? Is to know why matters happen. While Isaac is someone to admire, it is about his message. That should be the focus of attention. The message, not the messenger.

His prediction of the Internet was interesting. Unfortunately, he didn't accept the difference between theory and practice. The promise was global communication. The reality is frivolous advertising platforms.

Brilliant yet naive. There should be more Asimov's in the world, but humanity seems to skew toward the opposite more often, as is evident all over this and every other Internet platform which represents modern humanity. It's also depressing that Moyer has to ask about how to spread or encourage curiosity and a desire for learning like a disease. It suggests that people are inherently deficient and must be infected, forced beyond their own free will or agency, to do something for their own betterment. If the world worked the way that Asimov idealistically seemed to want it to work we wouldn't have so many intellectually deficient identitarians ruining society right now under the guise of advocating for some kind of lopsided idea of, "Fairness." Our reality demonstrates that humans are just so many more simple apes looking for the next pleasurable sensation, no matter how fancy or refined we think we ourselves to be.

Ese es el fallo. Min 24:47 "yo tengo mi fe, tu tienes tu fe".

Macroeconomics is serious discipline, because they have to tell the President and Congres show much money they have to pay an to collect. Microeconomics, on the other hand, poses as a science but it's a pseudoscience, much like astrology and homeopathy. They even came up with a phony Nobel price!!
