Wow, I remember my mom sitting in the living room just after having an argument with my dad and out came Millie Jackson and Isaac Hayes. I think I was to young to listen to this music but she would let me sit there and listen and sing every work as if I knew what they meant. I know now what they mean and wow. Thanks for the post.

for all of you who really love soul music..find yourself a music store that has a vinyl section and you will find tunes like this at a low cost. vinyl is making a tremendous comeback and the artwork on the album's are far better than what you see on CD covers. if in California I recommend Ameoba or Rasputin's because they have it all! if in Vegas there's ZIA or the Record Store and inside of this small store you will find musical treasures I guarantee. happy hunting and one more thing..enjoy the music as you go back in time.
