I'm a 62 year old white woman who's loved Millie since the 70's. I went to one of her concerts in the late 70's in Opelousas, Louisiana, and my group of 4 were the only white people in the building (that we saw)! It was the best concert I've ever attended. I've been telling my friends about her ever since.

Got you big sis, on point. As a grown up 👩, now got you, I understand. Lesson learned ,point taken. Thank you for awareness, even though we learned hard way. All said, well taken, still repeating same thing. Music damn good, doesn't miss a point. Thank you, for such a message well received, childhood memories. Now I'm listening, hearing and understanding. Still sounds good, reminds of childhood memories.

Facts but they watch too much tv 📺 today and not learning to listen on a record player 🎞️, music like this has to be listened to on vinyl, in a room where you can be quiet and think. This is what the last two generations are gravely missing. The needle to the record ritual!

Millie J. I still get goosebumps when her voice pitches. This is the first song of hers I ever heard when I was 15 years old and it still remains my favorite 4 decades later. When my mum left to go to town, I would put the hi fi top volume and sing along. When mum was home I would put ear phones on. 😂 Best music era was way back then. Wish I could experience one of her live shows. Fan for life ❤
