I don’t even think he’s a pro and he makes me want to buy latitude discs, besides the fact they just have really nice plastic. I also think latitude is the one manufacturer that doesn’t change much when house of discs comes to town, they still maintain the latitude personality, which is a good thing.

Ricky's definitely a bigger star than Isaac (ongoing legacy versus new superstar), though I do own a few Isaac Robinson F3s.

I think Isaac is a good disc golf player. It matters not to me what discs he (or any other players) throw. Then again, I buy only used discs.

Love latitude plastic, wish they made better glow. I’d buy some Isaac discs if he went there as long as it’s not all crazy over-stable stuff he puts his name on.

Hmmm. So I heard similar ideas about the HoD marketing strategy from someone connected at an event. I more took from that similar to your conversation about DD being the disc golf brand of the people (hence the whole Walmart partnership), Westside being the "artsy" brand, and Discmania being the "Cadillac" brand. I felt that helped point out the narrative of him probably going to Discmania. No conversation was had around L64 or Kasta though and also how would you account for Cox and McCray. Not discounting the Latitude theory, just could be a stretch, imo

Hello from Scotland. Lat64 or Discraft are my guesses. Being a 2-time world champ, I'd assume that with the right branding/marketing, it would be easy enough for Isaac to outsell some other pros (disc sales) on Discraft's Elite Team & Lat 64's Grand Team. Both Discraft & Lat64 haven't had a world champ since McBeth in 2022 & Wysocki in 2017, I think both teams want someone of that calibre. While both teams have great players including some of my favourites (Gossage, Semerad, Dickerson & so on), apart from Gossage in 2022, I'd go as far as to say that only Barela is capable of challenging for a world title. I think the question is: Do Discraft want to have both brothers & market them in a similar vain to Simon/Eagle as the "crush boys" OR, Are Lat64 willing to cough up the money to put a world champ on their roster & have 1 pro player who can definitively challenge or push for world championships year after year.

I like this breakdown and also feel the likely landing spot could be Lat 64. Perfect way to keep that group of guys together, while not creating direct sales conflict at Discmania. Looking forward to his official announcement, whatever it is!
