That's a great opening. I love how they showcased awesome artists, nominated from so many different genres, coming together live to bring the house down.

I agree. It was fun, varied and they all seemed like they had fun, enjoying watching each others perform.

I love that Larkin Poe are fianlly getting their due! Self produced with no major lable support makes their fierce independence all the more impressive! Their musical power and genuine "Blood Harmony" are evident in all their performances, whether original or their stripped down covers. Their future's so bright... Gotta wear shades!😎

And 90% of the people there STILL haven't heard their music because they got stuck sharing a stage to do a cover.

I will never understand why every time PTX performs live there is always a full band playing behind them. They are an acapella group. They ARE the instruments.
@brandiblair93989 ай бұрын
Every time I have seen them on award shows it has been part of an ensemble performance with non-accapella groups. I think they were just thrilled to perform with artists like Shiela E, which means 1 on 1 and practice time and the exposure.

…. And always autotuned 😂😂😂
@iiiisssssaaaaaacccccc9 ай бұрын
@@dannyboy3238nope. They never use auto tune unless the song they are covering use it. Overall they have never use autogenerate doing studio recording and live recording/performance. If you disagree then that your opinion that you think that they’re using auto tune or some shit.

Thank you for putting this up! You know, I've been wondering about next award season. This year's highlighted holiday album songs - Please Santa Please, Kiss from a Rose, Pure Imagination/Christmastime Is Here, and O Holy Night - are as strong a set as they've ever put out, IMO. But they're tied to that huge block of re-released material. It's a little awkward and a little sad, in terms of award nominations.

thank you! This was however pretty awful. NOT PTX but it sounded off key like the music and those girls singing were in different keys for a while there. i never enjoy it when these shows put a band behind ptx so they should have let them do their own song or something as this did not show any of the groups in a good light. the end sounds ok when people aren't doing too much singing.
