I'm thinking the reactors will finally believe that is only Mitch and his talent...not the megaphone!! Outstanding, as always!
@hernameispekka_Rebecca2 ай бұрын
I mean, the original video has some minor vocal distortion on the megaphone part. Both Kevin and Scott have confirmed that. He doesn't have in when performing live though (or in this video, clearly) but they've never tried to hide that they added some distortion as a stylistic choice. They often add edits like cleaner vocals (or even some tone correction) to hit the stylistic vibe of pop music. They don't need it, talent wise, but sometimes choose to do it because it fits the vibe they're going for.
@N_F4142 ай бұрын
the original video has the electric guitar distortion added in post. It's quite obvious , and a great stylistic touch. It doesn't detract from the beauty of their live performance versions like this one. But if you don't think there was distortion added to that guitar solo in the original video...might be time to touch grass.
@PtxXtp2 ай бұрын
@N_F414 i think what they're getting at os that many reactors see the megaphine amd think that's why it sounds like a guitar. Always takes many fans tellingnthem that Mitch doesnt need to megaphone to aound like a guitar. Nibidys disputing that they added effects to the studio recording, just that Mitch is capable enough on his own. He's quite good at imitating lots of sounds and voices.

Most do not realize how difficult it is to get sounds like this from human voices. Just to be able to sing with intonation and blend you voice with another for a pleasing sound is hard but to have 5 equally talented singers in fine health (no colds, allergies, flu) on the same day, same hour, almost impossible. A very difficult song, long, with intricate harmonies. A beautiful presentation. Reminds me of The Swingle Singers from the 1960s.
@j.6133Ай бұрын
What's interesting, in tour they have shows almost every day, and sometimes one of them is down with the flu, so what they do in that situation, they put one person in a separate room with a camera facing him/her, and that person performs live from that room while the other members are on stage in front of 10K+ sold out arena of people. They've done that multiple times, and it's impressive every time.

I’ve appreciated most of the videos but it’s always the quality of the vocals and the arrangements that takes and holds me. I’ve liked the background color shifts used recently. My God, just as great as the first recording of "Bohemian Rhapsody" if not more. I'm in the hospital (rehab next) with complications from my first full hip replacement surgery and I felt so down. This video perked me up! If you find yourselves near Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio near your Cleveland tour stop), send prayers for a successful recovery. I know I'm just a small speck in this world, but a prayer (silent or in person??) would go a long way. Thank you! 😊❤️🎶🎄🤶🎅🎁

I'm not PTX but I'm sending prayers. A little advice....don't let the physical therapist push you too far!!! Just tell them that's all you can do.
