Personally I don't think Sister Krone is an evil person. She is just like everyone else. She is trying to survive. Sure it's cold and unforgivable that they will sacrifice others for own survival but hey their world is messed up. We can all thank the demons for all these things. I feel like if they lived normal lives, Sister Krone is probably a neighbor to the orphanage of Mama.

how some children could have this music box. play it when mama isn’t there to help them when they have a nightmare. bringing them comfort as they fall asleep into a blissful sleep, smiling, feeling everything is right with the world. until they wake up the next morning, packing their bags for the night ahead of them. replaying the music box, humming to mamas lullaby, saying goodbye to everyone and promising they won’t ever forget them and that they would write to them everyday. mama takes them to the gate. humming the lullaby they oh so dearly loved. holding the music box in their left, and mama’s hand in their right. humming along. mama smiling at them, remembering the innocence in their eyes and how they would smile and tackle emma with the other small children. they both get to the gate. the child walks to the car and turns around to ask mama why there isn’t anyone there. but she’s gone. the gate shut closed. panic sets in and they run to the gate. dropping the music box by accident, the music box opening and playing mama’s song. they cry, calling for mama, reaching through the bars. but then a hand wraps around their small body, they turn around for their eyes to be met with inhuman ones. they scream and cry, seeing the jaws get closer and closer. wanting mama and everyone with them. kicking their feet as the music box play as if mama was there to comfort them. then a sharp pain meeting their chest. it pierces through their chest. tears streaming down their face and their last memories fade from their mind. music box fading. the kicking stops and the struggles gasps end

She simply carried the song with her in remembrance of him. she never thought of it or told anyone it was her lullaby, infact she probably thought of it as leslies song or leslies lullaby.
